I don't go into detail why I don't use the echo show 11, but it is one of the worst products that I have bought ever. Thinking of that, I deceide to jailbreak it. I have some experience in that field and even if I break it, it is no loss, because I don't use it anyway.

To access the OS is not possible, because it has a jack which resambles a rj-45 on the outside, but with a 3x3 golden square contacts for attaching. Never seen one like this. I deceided to open it.

Disasembling the box is not difficult, you need a couple of thorx screwdrivers T5 and so on. But, when you want to access the printplate where the processor is, you need to remove the screen.

This is glued very tight and in trying that, the screens splashed like a carwindow which is hit by a rock.

I also found out that the chip is an Amazon AZ3 Pro.

I also realize that even when my screen was not shattered, doing something with de echo was for me not possible.

At random times either Alexa will be talking or I'll be listening to music and then the sound just cuts out for a while. Happens more often when listening to music. It's about to drive me nuts!

Since Alexa updated, it will not play more than 3/4 of a single song via Spotify & it's driving me nuts!

How do I fix it?

I've made both devices forget each other, tried disabling the skill, tried Bluetooth pairing the devices again. It does the same thing each time & plays 3/4 of a song then disconnects itself!!

Help, please, it's driving me nuts!!

Has anything like this happened to anyone on an Amazon Echo Show?
Yesterday around 8 pm, my 2-year-old was watching YouTube videos with toys, possibly Paw Patrol or KPop Demon Hunters. Suddenly, the video disappeared and a little girl sleeping in bed appeared on the screen. It looked like security camera footage, and we didn’t recognize her or the room.
The image seemed frozen, and we couldn’t get it off the screen until we said “Alexa, home.” Our Echo sometimes displays our home cameras, so we checked, but only our three cameras were listed.
I also checked YouTube history, but nothing stood out. Has anyone seen a scene like this inserted into a toy video, or experienced something similar on an Echo Show? It really freaked us out.

I was having trouble getting a recipe into my cooking library. The last resort method for this I have found is to email it to Alexa, but I couldn't remember the email address so I asked my Echo Show for the address and it responded with the right address, "alexa@alexa.com." Then my Echo Dot said, "alexa@alexa.com." Then the Echo Show said it again and so began the loop, on and on back and forth until I finally quit gaping and said, "Echo, stop." To make it weirder, that's my wake word, Echo, not Alexa.

Asked Alexa to shop me a recipe, which is done loads of times. Today, it's decided that it cannot show recipes because of the language and region settings. I've checked, it's UK English, and based in the UK, and to the best of my knowledge I've not updated any settings either through the show, or through the app. It's an Echo Show 5 (1st generation 2019).

Anyone else with this issue? Or any fix they can think of? I've turned it off and on again too.

Amazon announced Alexa+ for India a while ago, and there was an option to enrol to get access to the new Alexa+ services. However, it’s been quite some time, and I’m wondering if anyone in India has actually received the upgrade yet.

Has anyone here been upgraded to Alexa+ on their Echo devices?

I’d love to know:

• Have you received access to Alexa+ in India?
• Which Echo device are you using?
• Does it work properly in India, or are there still limitations?
• Is the new AI-powered Alexa noticeably better than the current Alexa?
• If you enrolled for early access, did you receive an invitation or any update from Amazon?

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people who are actually using it in India, rather than just reading about its announcement.

Y ahorita pues cuando reproduzco el DJ de Spotify se queda en silencio y empieza a reproducir la música, pero después de un tiempo como que vuelve a tener el segmento del DJ y se traba y no reproduce nada

I am traveling with my Echo Dot. I have a routine that states the date, time, weather, & starts playing a specific radio station . Each time I get to a new location, I change the address for the echo dot. I leave my home address alone since I have routines (lights etc) set at home while I’m gone. This has been working for over a year - giving the weather in my current location. Two weeks ago, I updated the location & time zone on the device and it was fine. Yesterday I moved again & changed the address and time zone. Now it’s giving me the weather for my home address. The temp on the Home Screen shows the temp at home. And now when it’s giving me (the wrong) weather, it starts playing the radio station simultaneously.

I have deleted the routine and set it up again, unplugged the echo dot numerous times, told it to check for software updates (there were none). How do I get this to work correctly again? I think it’s tied to my changing the time zone? Please help - any ideas??? Thank you!!

I have a wired ring doorbell and connected it to several Echo Show screens. The screens are selected in the Alexa app to notify us when the doorbell is used. They do show video from the doorbell but I just can't get them to ring.

It's not because of any do not disturb setting or volume.

I just can't find any way to repair this. Any ideas?

Don't laugh but .... when I am traveling I want to be able to play a mp3 of my voice to my dogs via Echo remotely. My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts but who cares.

ok so I'm sitting in my room,I ask alexa to play DEAR MARIA COUNT ME IN BY ALL TIME LOW and she says the name AND DOESN'T FING PLAY IT!!! Pls help

I got my New echo dot, since the old one lost it's wlan function. But now, after only a few weeks, my New echo dot is permanent lighting white, the led is running in a circle and I can't sleep with that sht for real.

I tried to told her to stop that sht, she tried changing the "salt Stone light" but this light isn't smart, it's a smart Power outet, dunny why alexa is so nuts, the old one was smarter and better...

After I asked her the fourth time, and I finally got her answer about her light, not another lamp, she told me a shit lie "for my newer Generation it's common and normal to permanently glow white, you can't deactivate that".

I tried anything, from deactivating and reactivating her watch the room movement Mode to anything ekse, also many New starts inbetween, and cuttung her Power income, nothing helped. And no there is fcking no guard function, I use the german menu, but there is simply not such function.

Does anyone knows what may really help? Or is this a disfunctioning monday sht which I have to send back?

Alexa has turned lights on and off randomly for about 24 hours. Bedroom light came on at 3 am. Living room lights have gone off and on at least 3 times. What's happening? Is there a repair?

See video here. When telling Amazon Music to play on either of my two Echos, I get an odd “skipping” behavior as though the sound stops playing while the track is playing in the background. Notice how the song continues to play on beat even though several seconds are missed.

No amount of power cycles fixes it, and no amount of router power cycles fixes it either. It can’t be a buffering issue because the song still plays on beat. And now my second Echo is starting to exhibit the same behavior.

Does anyone have any ideas why this is going on?

A few days ago I was sitting on my bed watching tik tok with my earphones. It was around 11 pm and I laughed at something I saw on tik tok when suddenly my alexa played my laughter. I didn’t say anything like ‘record’ or smth like that. I didn’t even say her name. It was really creepy.
