Advice needed for CD title.
Our flute, cello and harp trio has just recorded an album and we are having trouble coming up with a title which could tie the pieces together. The composers are Castelnuovo-Tedesco, (a biblical chamber song cycle), Henrietta Bosmans (cello and harp), Debussy, William Alwyn, and Joseph Hallman. The Alwyn is the Naiades Sonata for flute and harp, so there is classical Greece being involved.

temperaments/tuning in string ensembles
My amateur group is playing Schubert's Cello Quintet in C 1st movement this fall. Usually we're a piano group and I'm on keyboard, but I'm playing Violin II in this group for now.
Now from my piano experience I know that temperaments are really really important in Schubert's music - they make sharps sharp and flats flat and give each key character as he modulates through - and C major especially has a very central and pure character that I wanted to make sure I captured.
So I've been experimenting with tuning my violin to pure C major with a pure dominant:
1) get a low C from cello and tune A-C-E as a perfect minor triad
2) tune G perfect to the same C, then D perfect to G and accept the wolf fifth D-A that Schubert never uses in my part
I think it's been good for my practice and helps me hear where Schubert used the sharps to create tension and enharmonizes to flats to resolve them.
What's the general experience with temperament in string chamber music? Do most string players argue over temperament? Or do they just not care?
