Real or Fake? Thoughts on this?
Real? Fake? NGC verify checks out. This is my first El Cazador so I’m just wondering about this one in general if it looks good and what is a fair price to buy it at.

I haven't made a post like this before, so feel free to let me know if this isn't interesting to you all, but I go through bills and what not weekly, so happy to share if worthwhile. Anyway....
Both design panels have now looked at the 2027 American Innovation $1 reverses (Oregon, Kansas, West Virginia, Nevada), and their letters to the Mint and Treasury are posted. I lined them up.
Agreed:
- Kansas: KS-09A, Jack Kilby in profile holding a chip with a circuit diagram behind him. His family's pick. CCAC scored it 23/27.
- West Virginia: WV-01, the Green Bank Telescope in its valley (governor's and observatory's pick). CCAC gave it 25/27, then a motion to make the telescope 10-15% bigger failed after Chief Engraver Joseph Menna said that would be negligible at coin size.
Split:
- Oregon (Beverly Cleary): the CFA went with OR-06, the governor's office and family pick, which has a kid reading by the bookshelf. The CCAC went with OR-06A, the same design without the kid (20/27). The CFA also singled out OR-07 for its artistic quality.
- Nevada (copper-riveted clothing, the Jacob Davis / Levi Strauss patent of 1873): the CFA picked NV-01, a worker hammering at an anvil (the governor's office pick). The CCAC said the concept was hard to show on a coin and went with NV-05, a jeans pocket with rivets, but it only scored 12 out of 24 and passed with 2 abstentions.
None of it is final. The Treasury Secretary picks. Which Nevada would you take?

My oldest son is about to get his first loose tooth (at least I think so, it looks like an adult incisor is poking up behind his baby one), and I want to get enough coins to last three kids' worth of baby teeth.
The only real issue i have is, I want to avoid the current president's mugshot. Sacagawa, Eisenhower, Lady Liberty, whichever.

I have a bunch of coins like this that I bought years ago on eBay. I don’t really have any use for them. What is the best way to dispose of them? Is something like this worth grading or should I just sell them raw?

Does anyone have a list of all of the countries that produced .900 coins?
I would also be interested in seeing a list of all .900 coins produced by the US mint and any in .900 NOT produced by the US mint.
I cannot find a single good source and do not want to scan through numista to put my own list together, because I am sure one alraedy exists somewhere.

Good afternoon - I had an opportunity to pick up 65 Mercury dimes today and jumped at it for what I felt is a fair price. Are there any here that jump out as being special or more valuable? The ones in the first few pictures have prices on them that I’m assuming the previous owner paid - are those values still accurate?
Also, I really don’t like these protective holders. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t take the majority of the common/circulated ones out of them?
Thank you very much for any guidance or information.

I was doom scrolling through some lots on ebay and came across a junk silver lot. I noticed the 1916 mercury in the picture and figured id look to see if it had a mint mark. Low and behold it did, unfortunately the pictures were not very clear but I figured I would roll the dice. Fast forward to today and the package arrives to reveal this dime. Unfortunately I believe it is an s but the thrill was fun while I waited.

I have been carrying around this one dollar gaming token from my local casino for about 10 years now and still has beautiful luster and eye appeal. The coin is completely worthless but to me it’s priceless!

I traded 14 common circulated/cleaned 90% Morgan and Peace dollars + $500.00 for this nice $5.00 Gold Half Eagle. What grade do you think it is? I’m thinking it’s between AU-58-MS-63. I know that’s a spread but the gold Indian series are so difficult to grade. Also that’s a D right?
Thought this one was so cool. As a Bay Area native this was a must have.
