Rhea is probably the best fighter in the series. Considering that Nemesis scales with Byleth and Shez.... and Byleth needed help to beat Nemesis. And Rhea beat Nemesis alone

Since Nezha is part of a DLC lord group, if the upcoming DLC is full part 1s then I'll redo the discussion when the DLC comes out.

Based on what we know so far, Anatolia is very likely having an unique part 2

In part 3 she was called “Queen of Kingdom of Solomon”.

Given she didn’t have such title in part 1, it’s only reasonable to assume that her part 2 would be more on her establishing her new kingdom, also explains why she was never seen in part 2 so far.

I wanted to share this beautiful commission I got of Eshmel and Hong Hua!

The idea is set 100 years after the game, where the two have built a happy life together and are now expecting a child. I really wanted to give Hong Hua a wholesome future while still acknowledging her past.

I also have another Eshmel and Dante commission coming soon, and I'm planning on doing one with Ursula as well!

Part of the reason I'm doing these commissions is because I was left pretty frustrated with how some of Eshmel's paired endings turned out, especially the ones involving my favorite characters. I wanted to give them the happier, more explicitly romantic endings I was hoping for.

Hopefully, these commissions can bring a little happiness to others who were left feeling similarly disappointed with the endings!

Overall, I'm really happy with how this one turned out!

So I just got done with Leda Part 1 after 42 hours. Loved her story, her character, the supporting cast, and the world building, particularly everything going on behind the scenes with Solel, Maria, Arago, etc., all leading up to a satisfying Chapter 12 with the confrontation with Bertrand, and the resolution. It all flowed well.

I plan to do Theodora next, but went to Chapter 2 just to get a glimpse of what's to come. All of a sudden, Emperor Dagda has awakened, he was "chosen" by Soros, killed his son Solel, Maria was found dead, there's a huge war declaration on Theodora's kingdom, the gods are aligned with Dagda's crazy schemes, and now we're joining forces to fight the empire. But Kalla still supports Leda... Like, a BUNCH of shit just went down in between Chapter 1 and 2, and I am utterly confused as to... WTF happened.

Yes, I know, playing the other part 1's will reveal a few things, particularly Theodora's history with Dagda, but aside from that, I have a hard time believing that playing the other routes will make the Part 1 to 2 transition feel less... Sudden and chaotic?

Is this intentional? Are there going to be a bunch of reveals in Chapter 2 that kind of elaborate on things a bit?

Those who have completed multiple routes, how did you find them?

I started off with Leda, but regretted it pretty early on (and the end too...). Dietrich, on the other hand, felt so much better and I wished he was my first instead. That said, trying to decide whether to do Theodore or Cai next, but Cai looks like the one I'll enjoy the least since people say it has a lot of chores. I prefer combat overall, so, that does play a big role.

What about you? This is all super subjective of course.

About a year ago I wanted to finally play all the way through Fire Emblem Shadows of Valentia, but the cartridge is seemingly dead. I have a 3ds XL and a 2ds. Is it worth going through the trouble of jail breaking one to try and save the cartridge or are there other methods I can try to fix it?

I didn't realize there was a difference in the JP and EN script regarding Mediator reproductive capabilities until recently due to discussion about the datamines.

In the English version of Mediators II, the passage about Mediator reproduction goes:

"Furthermore, in anticipation of the possibility that a Mediator is the sole survivor of unforeseen extreme circumstances, they are designed to be capable of a variety of methods of reproduction to ensure the survival of human civilization. This is an important physical feature of all Mediators."

However, the JP version of the same passage goes:

"Furthermore, anticipating that a Mediator may encounter an unforseen event under extreme circumstances and become the sole survivor, in order for them to duplicate themselves and leave possibilities for human civilization's continued existence, they are designed to be capable of parthenogenesis. This is also a major physical characteristic of a Mediator."

Parthenogenesis is a form of asexual reproduction that some animal species are capable of (including some kinds of reptiles such as salamanders). Contrary to the English script, which is more open to interpretation, the Japanese script is rather specific about only asexual reproduction as an apparent additional function.

Of course, this does nothing to answer questions about some endings like Alexandra's. If anything it raises even more questions.

I will admit, I am absolutely guilty of this. I hated Raphael in 3H because of his too tight shirt and ugly face. I still don't like him to this day lol. Maybe it's petty. but I have to actually like a character for me to want to to use them, and design plays a part in that. Hortensia in Engage was another one, doesn't help she sounded annoying too. Maybe she's good but idc I couldn't stand her.

I think these will be the free recruits on the 4 DLC-paths.
Nydine and Io on Anatolia and Talimun, because they have no mounted unit, Noctula on Orchel, since she has no fist-user and Peppe on Bertrand for bows. These 4 also don't appear in the story.

Except for KINDA Peppe, but you get him on BERTRAND's paraloque. The only other canditates who are NOT in the Heroic Games are Nuzzuo, who is a boss in Cai's and Theodora's path and Kiroc, but Kiroc talks about Talimun screwing him over, so I'm guessing he's a boss there.

The reason I'm ordering them like this btw, is because currently the free recruit match the Flame Lord's gender:
Cai - Guzzran
Dietrich - Yang Jie
Theodora - Sofia
Leda - Catania

This could ofc just be a coincidence, so you could say Nydine goes on Talimon's team instead.

I'm on my last part 1 playthrough and felt inspired to do some art!

I keep saying Leda's "There's a man..." line from the trailer in Buccar's country accent.

Also Olympia running around with a Mace is very fun.
