Is this blood or something else

Im using this little pouch for some basic first aid / moderate trauma, could what i have in here be used to save a life? I have a small tourniquet in the flal that could be used on finger or toe amputations ?

I’m not sure if it’s healing right or if it’s infected. I’ve been moisturizing quite a bit and washing it 2 times a day. I work in a kitchen so it’s been difficult to manage at work. It stings often and I can’t really make a scent out of it. The redness around has been pretty consistent since I’ve taken my wrap off
