Does anyone live near the football and baseball fields? Looking for a house and wondering how loud it gets in the surrounding area.

I've been living in Hazlet for many years now, but I recently left for Middletown. This was probably the best decision that I made so far during my lifetime.
My family originates from Brooklyn, and I am absolutely proud of that. Brooklyn has always been the center of all the cultures that you can find in America, and it still continues to this day. Although most of my family still lives in New York, I was forced to move into this town in NJ. This was completely devastating to the structure of my family, and I wish that it had never happened.
It was disappointing when I learned more about this town, to say the least. I learned about how much there was a lack of culture, transportation, and lifestyle compared to Brooklyn, and I was not tolerating it. As a result, I made many changes in my life, because I know that I can return to Brooklyn eventually once I have the chance if I put in enough effort.
Right now, I am in Middletown, because I have to go to college there. I mostly forgot about the life in Hazlet, and I do not keep up with current events, so I am unsure of what is happening. It will be a very bright day if I get accepted into a CUNY school or another school further away from Monmouth County (hopefully this happens). Then, I can focus on getting a well-paying job so that I can afford an apartment in Brooklyn.
I'm sorry if I sound negative in this post, but I needed to get this off of my chest. I respect any opinion that you may have, and you can feel free to disagree, but I am only posting this here because I do not know where else to post it.

Taking space in the old Friendly's site on Route 35. Was hoping for a 'bux to open in Airport plaza one day, but for now this will do!
Was growing tired of driving to Matawan or Aberdeen for the starbucks/laptop scene.

Not sure what the appeal is to be honest - except decent prices for some random off-brand products...?
I'm more of a Livotis guy myself.

Anyone try the new lime bikes around town? Similar to New York's popular CitiBike program, these actually seem a lot cheaper and more versatile.
Tired of cycling? Just hop off, leave it anywhere (although good etiquette says to put it where bikes are acceptable), and head on your way.
Great for the Henry Hudson trail!

I think you should be able to find it in the sidebar.

Hi, just looking to meet some people in the area and develop some relationships! Just move here and only know a few people.
I am a (41 straight white Male physically fit) and looking for people to mostly just hang with... get a few drinks, shoot the sh*t and laugh a lot!

Have we just accepted that this is our reality now? The toothpaste is clashing with the dried dirt taste each morning and night.

I must be getting old - because I had to put a complaint into the township. Was going on until 11:30PM - complete with fireworks and loud, live music. I wouldn't normally mind, however it kept my 15 month old up all night as the house and her nursery was pretty much shaking from the vibration.
Anyone know anything about this? There was another concert during the Summer...never received any notice from the town or anyone that there was going to be blaring music for 7 hours late into the night.

I believe the plan was for a Wegmans and some other major retail developments....
Village 35 is getting a lot of push-back from citizens...
Is it mainly because of extra RT35 traffic? Why all the hate? I'm curious.

Grand opening! Supposed to be better than Michael's for all your crafting needs (of which I have none).
Anyone into this?
