I have passed Matric and have not yet enrolled in Intermediate. i would like to know whether it is legally possible to complete HSSC Part I and Part II in one year by appearing in combined examinations as a private candidate.

I want to take the IELTS test a few weeks from now, can anyone suggest based on their experience If I should choose IDP or British Council? How's their management and all? Do they both provide prep material once we book the test?

P.S The IDP Education main at Shahrah Faisal PECHS (Vital Foakh Tower) is near me so I'm thinking of booking that one.

I bought Dyson Airsmooth (the new product they launched a month ago).
I was in Saudi Arabia last week and bought Dyson from Sephora and it wasn’t working from day one.

I went back to Sephora and they wanted an email from Dyson to take the product back. Got zero response over email from Dyson.

Anyways now I am back in Karachi and stuck with an expensive unused machine which I bought for convenience.

Do you guys know anyone who would repair this machine in Karachi? I know we have for more talented people here.

One year ago, I was at Naheed Super Store, as soon as I stepped outside, a guy offered me free earphones with a free Ufone or Zong SIM (don't exactly remember). Since this was literally unexpected, so didn't know what I was doing..

He asked me for CNIC no. which I understand is required for registration. So I think I gave him that verbally. Since I was in a hurry, the guy with machine said please hold for a minute and kept on waiting. I wanted to go away, because I knew what I am doing is not right.. I can't recall if I pressed my thumb against that biometric device or not.

The security guard jumped in and asked to leave and said to me these guys fools people. So finally I got the reason to get out of there right away.. and returned that one earphone they handed over..

There was one thought that kept me worried. Were those guys acting like the machine wasn't working? So that they keep the SIM + earphone? or was it really not working?

Although, I keeps checking up time to time if there has been any unauthorized SIM activated on my name.. but there aren't so far..

For worst case scenario, let's say if my identity has been stolen. What can be done in such cases?

I rented this house about a week ago, and since moving in, I’ve been noticing a very strange smell inside the house. It smells like vomit mixed with rotten milk, but the weirdest part is that it seems to move from one corner of the house to another. I’ll suddenly notice it in one spot, where it lasts for only a few seconds before disappearing, and then I’ll smell the exact same thing somewhere else a little later. It never seems to stay in one place, almost as if the smell is moving around the house. My friends have also noticed it, so it’s not just me. I have no idea what’s causing it, and since I’ve only been living here for a week, I’m starting to wonder if there’s something unusual going on with the property. What is it any idea?

1. why is it so quiet? some of the shop owners in that area said the government is cracking down on the stall owners. i just wanted more insight.

I recently started my first job and want to treat my close family members to a nice dinner. We’ll be around 15 people, including quite a few kids, and my total budget is around Rs. 27,000–30,000.

I’m looking for recommendations for places anywhere between North Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and up to the Super Highway side.

A few preferences:

Preferably desi food, BBQ, or mandi — not Chinese.

Spacious seating, ideally takht/ground-style seating rather than regular chairs.

A family-friendly environment with enough room for the kids.

Not too congested, especially since we’ll be a fairly large group.

Affordable enough to stay within budget for all 15 people.

I’d really appreciate recommendations based on your actual experiences, especially places where the food is good and the seating arrangement is suitable for a large family.

If possible, please also share an approximate total cost for 16 people and the location.

I’ve been using stormfiber for more than 4-5 years now, but overtime their services have gotten worse, at first they’d send someone to fix their wifi in 24 hours (their usual timeframe) but whenever there’s an issue with the WiFi now, it literally takes them 3-4 days and at least 50 calls per day for their team to actually show up.
Not only that, but it’d be understandable if it was once in a blue moon type thing..but it happens at least twice a month now and gets so frustrating.
I’m literally paying 4k per month for it to not even work 15 out of those 30 days at this point.
I saw some people say that PTCL is better at this rate.
Can y’all let me know if i should switch & what provider should i switch to?
