Question? Anyone know why there are so many (motor)bikers wearing Pagans jackets outside Penn right now?
Hanging outside 36th and Spruce. Surprising to see

Question? Anyone have experience with the First Unitarian Church?
I have been venting to my therapist today about feelings of isolation and a severe lack of friendship and sense of community in my life, and I was a bit taken aback during therapy today that my therapist suggested joining a church, but more specifically a Unitarian church, and he linked me a bunch of webpages for Philadelphia's First Unitarian Church. My therapist said it's something that's had a lot of spiritual and communal benefits for him, and he thought I should consider checking out because he found Unitarians to be very welcoming and non-dogmatic, but especially friendly to LGBTQ people (I am nonbinary and asexual).
Does anyone know anything about them? Their website looks like they have a lot of regular events and services. I had never considered joining a church as a way to meet people or have community. I was raised Catholic as a kid but I don't remember much besides my parents telling me it was just something I had to do on top of school. My family and myself eventually became atheist, and that's another reason my therapist suggested checking it out (he said Unitarians are pretty welcoming to atheist folk and he had a similar experience being raised Catholic and then becoming atheist).
Edit: I made a mistake. My therapist linked me the Germantown Unitarian Church, not the first church of Philadelphia

Question? What's your weirdest encounter with a pigeon in Philly?
What's the weirdest or most unhinged thing you've ever seen a pigeon do in Philly?
I'm talking pigeons starting fights, stealing food, doing weird shit, just being absolute menaces.
We're making a little game based in Philly and thought it'd be fun to hear some actual pigeon stories from people around the city. I feel like you guys have probably seen some ridiculous stuff.
So let's hear it. What's the craziest thing you've seen a pigeon do?

Local Business AAA on Columbus Blvd oil change
So 10am appt for oil and tire rotation on my vehicle. Pretty standard stuff. I'm still sitting here after what should have been max 2.5 hr service. The tech goes to lunch and the car is sitting in a corner of the shop half done. Doesn't say a word to anyone on the floor or anyone up front. Two techs to complete simple service. 4 hours to complete a simple service. Been here before with the car but nothing ever like this.

Question? “Thanksgiving” takeout
Looking for recommendations to host a “Thanksgiving” meal that’s not a Turkey and sides. We’ll already have had thanksgiving on Thursday and this isn’t til over the weekend. I’m thinking like a butternut squash lasagna or something along those lines. Probably about 12 people. Would love some recommendations!
