Netanyahu: Israel needs to prep ‘alternate economy’ to circumvent any global sanctions
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel should prepare its economy and banking sector for the possibility of harsh global sanctions.
In an interview aired today with the Channel 10 economic TV network, Netanyahu is asked how concerned he is about such sanctions affecting Israel’s economy, pointing to broad UK sanctions on settlements announced last month.
“Of course I’m concerned,” says Netanyahu, suggesting that “tens of billions of US aid dollars to the defense budget — get used to it — won’t keep coming. Because America has changed. Not because Israel has. It’s over and it will be over; it’s just a question of time.”

The US debt increased to 40 trillion dollars back on August 23. Now, 2 months later, it has increased by more than 440 billion and will continue to increase rapidly.

DOHA—Regional security officials received a sobering American message as they gathered in the Qatari capital and braced for a potential new round of escalation between the U.S. and Iran: They need to look out for themselves.
Tom Barrack, the U.S. ambassador to Turkey and President Trump’s special envoy for Syria and Iraq, said the grand bargains that have underpinned global security for decades are undergoing major transformation, and countries in the Middle East and elsewhere should focus on securing themselves via regional partnerships.

This is a global survey across many countries where people are asked to select the country that they perceive to be the biggest threat to global peace. The USA leads by a large margin and, surprisingly, Americans themselves have selected their own country as the biggest threat.
The only country whose population feels Iran is the biggest threat to peace is Israel.
Russia is on second place, Israel is on third and China is only selected by the people of Japan.
