"I'm very, very excited about that. We have a writer that we like, who is now starting work on a script, and hopefully that's something that we will put together quite quickly. It seems to be a priority at Paramount, which is great. Super, super, super excited about that. But I love the books and I love Pierce and I'm really, really excited."

Thought I would post this for those who have concerns about the announcement for a live-action adaptation vs animation. And to give some comfort that it’s possible we could get both at some point in time. I also love animation and would want at some point to see an adaptation in that medium as well. It’s clear though that for the success of the series a movie would probably be best with all things considered like budget and scope. I think it’s best for us to trust Pierce and his vision because I guarantee he’s put more thought into it than any of us on the outside.

IGN is the worst. I have a feeling it is going to be very difficult to separate the idea of this series being YA when it gets into production. I need Francis to lock in and make it brutal!

Not even Red Rising art, but that blade shape kinda makes it easier to see Darrow turning it into a SlingBlade

HAIL REAPER

I loved obviously the howlers
And Darrow
Cassius’s story line and character development loved it so got “My honor remains” in Latin

So I got something to represent all 3

For context, my name is currently “Andromedus” so we had a pretty fun back and forth during the game

On my third read through, it almost seems silly that Nero Au Augustus the archgovernor of the planet, comes down to watch Darrow and Eo’s punishment.
Seeing how busy that man must be, it would be like the President of the United States Going to a random courthouse in Alabama to oversee the sentencing of a crane operator and his wife…

Basically what I said. Everyone wonders about this one. We know Sevro obviously recognized his dad but we are not sure who knew what. Cassius sure seemed surprised.

I’ll go first
Ephraim T Horne -first off I listened via graphic audio and voice was perfect. I felt for him, the story arc, the loss, the cunning. And oh my god the walnuts…. And what an end, he was a worthy warrior in the end
Close second, Sevro Al Barka - very complex and talented, excellent voice actor

His honour remained.
FUCK LYSANDER!

That is all.

My friend let me borrow all his RR books so I thought I’d make this for him. Still gotta clean it up.

For Blood of Empire. It would obviously have to work some movie magic for the brilliant orange eyes and mane, but I think we could have something here.

“Because we are something you’ll never be shithead, human.”
Ephraim to Zenophon.

When Ephraim says that to Zenophon it gives me chills everytime. One thing people with empathy have is the ability to see and be a part of humanity with all its ugliness and hatred you still can believe in the potential to be amazing.
Fucking love Ephraim!

I swear to god the jellybean fox better live forever or die saving every fucken world in the solar system.
Anything less and i’m rioting.

Pierce. What the actual fuck. Also, fuck Lysander.

not me at all, I'm just in love with their work. I'm sure many of you are already fans, but if you are not, allow me to put you on to funsizedvalart on instagram

I have attached a few examples. Diomedes, Victra, and Sevro. Absolutely beautiful work. And they go over their process creating it too.

We appreciate you my goodman!

what do you guys think of my red rising squad? They all live on their island with thrones ❤️

I noticed this small detail while reading Iron Gold again and can't imagine why Pierce would make the callback unless it meant something, I could just be reaching but it is quite convenient. Was tongueless not really an obsidian? This along with his composed and intelligent nature just make me think he may have been somebody else.

😮‍💨 now what
