Hi I know this sounds very weird 😂 but I’ve just come out of hospital where I needed iv steroids and every time I’ve had them over the last few years it seems to unlock my reiki on another level! My hands and feet are constantly vibrating with energy and heat. The reiki activates itself! It’s so incredibly strong and I’m incredibly grateful for the healing.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this or any weird experiences?! I would love to hear them ❤️

I’ve just finished my 21 day clearing following attunement. My attunements were difficult as my energy likes to “take off” whilst I’m in a meditative state or asleep sometimes. The reiki master had to spend a long time grounding me.
On the weekend I went to a reiki share. There were 4 of us there and an amazing experience, but given my tendency to take off I did wonder what 3 peoples mirroring placements and energy might do to me. The reiki master stayed at my feet as she knows what tends to happen with me and it took all of them to ground me afterwards at my knees and feet. I could see who was in the room with us (guides) during me delivering reiki on one of the other girls, but whilst I was being worked on a part of me reached up out of my body and what looked like my higher self reached back. She came towards me and put her hands on my shoulders and told me I was doing a good job. It was at that moment my peers moved to my feet to ground. I find these experiences both amazing and a little anxiety provoking. It’s like the human in me gets scared but the soul knows it’s familiar and smiles. I was very much in the middle of an awakening before being attuned, it’s gone to another level since then. Does anyone else experience out of body experiences like this during reiki? I’ve also watched myself and my partner sleep recently.

I was attuned last November, Usui level I. I have been pretty diligently practicing self reiki since. However I was nervous to share with others. For lots of reasons I suppose. Well, I recently shared and was immediately given the opportunity to use a space within this persons business. They were so moved afterwards. I am just really excited for the opportunity and plan to just use the space to share with family and friends, asking just $20 to cover the space until I am ready to advance my levels

I recently had the good fortune to receive a few distance Reiki healings from two different practitioners. One offered a series of three asynchronous healings, while the other facilitated a scheduled session with a group of Reiki students. I shared that I've been dealing with some hip pain and osteoporosis, and that I've also been focusing on deepening my spiritual awareness and strengthening my connection to Source.

For context, I'm relatively new to Reiki myself and still learning to recognize and connect with Reiki energy. I've previously received a distance healing from the teacher who gave me my Level I and II attunements, and experienced what felt like pulsating, rolling contractions of energy in my heart and throat area, but enough time has passed that I've found myself questioning what I experienced and how much of it I could attribute to the Reiki.

For the scheduled group session, I set aside some time to lie down and relax in a quiet space with my cat. I felt peaceful and comfortable, but not unusually so, and didn't notice any particular sensations, emotions, or other experiences that stood out.

During the asynchronous healings, I happened to be going about my normal activities, including work meetings and phone calls, since I didn't know in advance when the sessions would take place.

I understand that any effects of Reiki might unfold over time, and that having a noticeable experience during a session isn't necessarily an indication of its effectiveness.

So here's what I'm curious about: How do you provide meaningful feedback to someone who has offered you a distance healing, particularly when it's asynchronous?

I want to honor the time, energy, and care these practitioners have offered, and I'd love to share something useful about my experience. But how do I give meaningful feedback when I haven't noticed any particular physical sensations or emotional shifts, especially when one of my intentions is something as subtle and difficult to measure as spiritual growth?

Obviously, if I'd had a vision, a Kundalini awakening, or a conversation with a spirit guide, I'd be reporting back with great enthusiasm! 😄 But that's not where I'm at.

I'm curious how others navigate this. Do you simply share that you didn't notice anything in particular? Do you wait and see whether something shifts over the following days or weeks? And for those of you who offer distance Reiki, what kind of feedback do you actually find helpful?

I have the opportunity to have a private level 1 attunement on the day before Halloween, which I’m incredibly excited about. However, I’ve heard that the collective energy is very high and not all positive during Halloween time. Could there potentially be negative energetic consequences or a greater sense of vulnerability to negative energy/forces if I receive my first attunement during this time? My reiki master I am planning to work with says if anything, I could carry a sense of light and groundedness during this time, but I’m still worried about being so open during a highly energetic time. I would appreciate any insight - thank you!

i just got level 1 and level 2 attunements these days. I got plenty of practices and homework for next weeks.

I wonder How was Your personal journey. When did you actually start to feel something is happenning?

As of course, if I follow all The mindfullness and awareness practices, I will feel better and be more aware in 21 days with or without Reiki.

any tips How to stay consistent and especially not loosing trust, especially in The beggining?

Hi all, I’m based in CO and was recently introduced to Reiki. Does anyone have any US or CO based Reiki teacher/class recommendations?

I’d prefer to learn from someone who can speak to the science of why Reiki works.

I'm myself on day 17/21 of reiki level 1 practise. Our teacher told us that some people experience 180 degree turn in their lives after reiki 1. So I wanted to hear experiences from you'll. As myself I'm going through lot of ups and downs until now.

I'm learning Reiki in Japan.

Where I study, part of our practice is called shosa (Reiki movement practice). It starts in pairs. The giver first fills themselves with Reiki, then the receiver, and then the whole space. The order isn't fixed, but filling yourself always comes first. When the receiver feels the Reiki, their body begins to roll over on its own.

We repeat this again and again, as a way of feeling Reiki through the body, and enjoying it.

I'd really love to know how people outside Japan work on the quality of their Reiki. What do you do?

I have aphantasia so I cannot visualize things. I am worried that this will impede my ability to be attuned or practice.

I couldn't sleep last night and just had this feeling of wanting to go out to search for Golden , so I did and 1 am found him sitting in the basketball court. I wanted to get a closer look to see if it was really him (its really him) but he got scared and ran across the parked cats across the street and lost him again.
