Discussion Weekly check-in: what are you revising this week? (SQE1 FLK1 / FLK2)
New week, new check-in. Drop a comment with where you are, and let's keep each other honest.
Copy this and fill it in:
- Sitting: (e.g. January 2027, or later)
- This week's subjects: (e.g. Land Law + Trusts)
- One topic that keeps tripping you up:
- Hours you're aiming for this week:
- One small win from last week:
A few ideas if you're not sure what to focus on:
- Pick your weakest subject, not your favourite. Two short sessions on the topic you avoid usually move the needle more than another pass over one you already know.
- Mix your subjects. Each FLK paper covers several subjects, so mixed practice is closer to the real thing than doing one subject in a long block.
- Review every wrong answer. Write one line on why the right option is right and why the one you picked isn't. That line is worth more than the next 10 questions.
- Do one timed set this week. Even 20 questions against the clock tells you whether pace is an issue.
If you want a free timed set for point 4, there are 10- and 20-question mini tests plus full FLK1/FLK2 mocks here (no sign-up): https://sqedaily.co.uk/tests/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=weekly
If you mention a topic that's tripping you up, I'll try to reply with a short explainer, and the common ones may become a Tuesday "in 2 minutes" post.
Good luck this week.
