Beautiful fall day in the PNW for a LARP session out in the woods with a buddy, got a great chance to check that my budget LBE setup is dialed in. Apart from a few small changes coming, I'm very happy with the function and comfort of my basic condor setup. The pouches all seem to be good quality, the belt itself is my biggest concern. If there is any interest in the specific setup I would be happy to post the belt itself and its contents and link it here.

Just picked my starting pieces for my kit I’m going to be building out , got a JPC 2.0 with the front molle placard and molle zip up back panel and a Gentex high-cut ECH , already have ballistic plates , pouches and battle belt on the way. Anyone got any tips or modifications for the JPC ? I’m used to a issued USMC gen 3 plate carrier that I had to modify to make somewhat comfortable and usable , so if anyone got any tips or recommendations for the JPC 2.0 I would highly appreciate it! (No this isn’t my issued helmet I bought it myself lol)

Posting here because r/ar15 is a buncha douchecanoes that removed it despite this clearly being an AR-15 platform rifle.

She learned to shoot when she was 10 and despite it being years since she's had any appreciable trigger time, is still a pretty dang good shot. She's shooting my "MK12 We Have At Home" at a 250m gong and then switching to the spinners at 20m just using hold overs.

Anyone know of any possible alternatives to the lunar concept expansion wings that would work for the MK6?

I just got a spiritus MK6 and the side wings are different than MK5 as they are thicker than the MK5 so I can’t fit them through the wings of the lunar concept wings.

I dry fire every night and have just been practicing drawing/reloads from aiwb but I finally got this all setup, I like it (other than the fde/coyote brown clashing) and I don’t think I’m missing anything but if you got something for me let me hear it

So, I was out hiking the other day and was getting absolutely hammered by the wind and started thinking about how comfy the wind breaker I had in the army was (ECWCS Gen III Level 4 Wind Jacket).

Short of just biting the bullet and walking outside of my mom's basement wearing multicam surplus to hike around- is there a equivalent jacket for that super soft ass wind breaker that anyone knows about?

So, I got into Vertx Phantom pants way back when they first came-out. Just as good every day wear feature-rich "cargo" pant that aren't baggy, with low profile pockets, looked decent for casual wear, etc.

Back then, the Phantom was almost entirely cotton. The new Phantom is a mostly synthetic blend now, which I don't like as much, and more importantly, is not good around fire, which is one of my use cases.

So, any recommendations on a pant similar in style to the VertX Phantom, but in (mostly) cotton? Bonus for having (not obvious) knee pad pockets.

Anyone know how the Dara dbl2 compares to the kore drop holster mounts? Kore has a few different options, Dara has two. Holster will be C&g trinity with hood, requires an adapter to work with Dara. I wanna keep my pistol grip at belt level... Pics, if you guys have experience with these two.
