I am. 48yo healthy male. Non smoking, very little alcohol, workout semi regularly.
Just started a new job 2 months ago and have a lapse in insurance atm.
AGI is $102 for a family of 4 (on the W2, but also care for my MIL with late stage dementia and a neurodivergent 21yo son) so really a family of 6.
Woke up a week ago dizzy, woozy and weak at 2am. Sitting, standing, walking, water and 30 minutes later it was not subsiding.
Went to TGH ER as I had no other options as I thought it might be a stroke.
Physical evaluation, EKG, and a CatScan with and without contrast were performed.
$25,880 for those procedures - before “discount” and $9,058 after self pay.
I realize ER and high costs but those numbers are unconscionable.
Charity pay scale stops at $99k for a family of 4. TGH will not negotiate the bill at all and my only 2 options are PayZen 0% for 60months at $150 or simply do not pay it all.
I have paid all my bills on time that I’ve accrued over the years, however out spite and shear principle I think I am about to flake on this bill.
The insult to injury was after waiting 6 hours and finally got the CatScan ordered I attempted to decline and asked to leave and was implored by the Dr as medically important. When I pressed and said I could go to my primary later that day he insisted I stay.
America needs to wake up.
Unless you have relevant helpful information, please refrain from reading between any lines this story has created and replying with anything but help.

Hey everyone! I went through what's happening around Tampa Bay this week and picked out a few events I thought were worth sharing. There's a good mix of concerts, sports, comedy, and Halloween activities.
Here's what caught my eye for October 27–30. Feel free to drop anything I missed in the comments!
Tuesday, Oct 27
Wednesday, Oct 28
Thursday, Oct 29
Friday, Oct 30
These are just a handful of the events happening this week. I put together a full list of 120+ events with dates, times, and a map if anyone wants to browse more: https://tampa-now.com/browse?when=week
Anything else going on this week that's worth checking out?

Am hunting for a therapist who treats adults and specializes in ADHD (NOT one who clumps that in with their experience, though I've experienced some help with general psychotherapists/LMHC's.) Can be local or virtual. Someone that's all in, gung-ho over untangling this brain, really "gets" the ways our minds operate and how it shapes our lives. I need outside the box strategies and coping tools.
Psychology Today has led me to two that listed it in their services, but absolutely did not; so I feel burned out on trying with their criteria.
I feel that it's almost a requirement that this person, too, has ADHD themselves!
Psychiatrist maybe needed, as well? Am on meds, have seen a few local ones, but may be time for a new start with that as well.
Thank you!!!

A monk parakeet flew into my balcony and then my apartment. I think it only has one leg. It seems really comfortable around people so if anyone in the Seminole Heights area is missing a pet please DM me.
I’m getting a cage and some supplies for it, but I’m not really a pet person. If it doesn’t belong to anyone, can someone recommend how to best help it?

Putting this off for years because I kept assuming it was not in the cards, and insurance covers almost nothing for ortho and my credit is not great either
Is in house financing actually worth looking into or is there a better route I have not thought of

Hello,
Diamond is a 2 years old American Staff and she is currently at the Hillsborough Pet Resource Center. She is scheduled for euthanasia on October 28.
Is anyone able to rescue her? I’ve been contacting rescues but they all seem to be at capacity.
This is her profile: https://adopt.hcfl.gov/PetDetails/A2547335
Anything to help her!

I've been looking for some foreign language card shops in the Tampa Bay & extended area for finishing some pokemon master sets. Does anyone know of any? The only one I've found is ShuShu but when I've been there looking for specific cards he just tells me to "buy it on eBay".

To make a long story short, I hit a jaywalker while driving and was listed not at fault after being investigated by cops for five hours straight.
Now, their parents are attempting to sue me. The insurance does not want to get involved on the account that they are trying to go for way more than the insurance is going to pay out.
I have been searching high and low but I can’t find a personal injury defense lawyer. Everyone only does personal injury. What should I do?

Hey everyone pretty much what my title says, im looking for a barber/hair salon that can cut coily/curly hair, my hair now is very long like down to my shoulders long but im tired of always having it up and im looking to get a mullet. I want the length of the 2nd picture but without the fade on the side, i want it more mild like the one in the 1st picture. I would appreciate any recommendations you guys think I should look into, i want to go to someone who knows what they’re doing so it doesn’t come out bad. Thank you.
We need a 2 car carport or garage built in tampa.
Have any good (or bad) experiences to share (preferably from this decade 😬)? We do NOT have to tear down an existing structure or remove trees. We have space in our shitty yard. Our budget is around $25k-35k. Should we continue to park in the grass until we die?
Thank you!

I hate to throw these away knowing someone out there can use them. There's 10-15 panes. Please, reply here and I'll send you the address to pick them up. I'm in Seminole Heights.
Does anyone know where i can donate these if they aren't picked up?

Hello. I'm currently homeless in Tampa. Originally from N.H. I'm in need of a phone or tablet. It needs to be an Samsung. I can't get my e-mails, make calls or passcodes for certain things: Indeed, paypal, cashapp, etc. I'm willing to work to earn it. I'm in the downtown area.
