The Jersey itself is expected to be green, but I do like the purple.

Purchasing this jersey through eBay and was curious if anybody has a better eye to tell if it’s fake or not? Any serious tells I should be looking for?

Up until he signed with LA for a second time, I've been following Perry closely each season and watched most of his team's playoff games.

Bittersweet, but he has 0p in 8 gp this year in LA. I will probably get over this eventually, but I came across a significant milestone today.

He likely wont catch Burns and Suter for most games played of the legendary 2003 draft class, but he does trail Joe Pavelski for 1st in the entire class in goals scored.

He trails Pavelski by 11 goals at 465 to Pavelski's 476. He scored 19 and 17 the last two seasons. Very good chance that if he can still play and stay healthy, he will become the class's all-time leader in goals.

He needs 47 points to catch Getzlaf in points, which he probably wont hit. But it's very cool that they will probably finish 4th and 5th in the class in points. Had they both stayed healthy, they could've been 2nd and 3rd, and Getzlaf maybe even 1st.

Considering the style he plays, he's now in his 22nd year largely because he became a very good leader and role player after the Ducks released him.

While at the Gulls game last night and over the last few years at Ponda and different arenas I’ve noticed the “Make loud noises” and “Let’s get loud” segments seem to happen more frequently. I’m not looking for a club experience, is it just me? Am I getting that old?

Lucky jersey got delivered just before Beckett scored on the PP in the 3rd. Coincidence? I think not

Since winning the cup, our penalty differential sits at -677. The next worst is Boston with -294. Our penalty differential per game is -0.45. Boston is again the next worst, at only -0.19.

We have the worst net penalty differential per game for every year going back to 1977, and the 5th worst when including years back to 1917. Two of the teams that are worse than us in that department include the Montreal Maroons and Brooklyn Americans, both of which have been defunct for upwards of 85 years.

What are people's thoughts on him? In previous games, he scared the absolute shit out of me. Like, every time he touched the puck I'd get nervous. Just a lot of dicey plays, passes up the middle, etc. So it didn't surprise me when he was the defender sent down. I mean, I never thought he was bad- just the guy who seemed the least ready for prime time. But... we won games with him in, and we lost games with him gone, and we won again with him today.

I would love to hear people's analysis of him! I am relatively new to following sport (and am a big dumb moron to boot), so I would especially love to hear from people who know puck. Guy good? Did I misjudge?

Also, I missed the first two periods due to other obligations and plan to watch the replay like a sicko, so any tips on what to keep my eye on are appreciated!
