Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য PLEASE HELP ME....I am depressed and unhappy with my life

What I am going through right now let me vent a little. I have nobody to talk about this . So I am 24 year old unmarried female here. I am struggling with my life in ways that I find increasingly difficult to explain. I feel emotionally exhausted, depressed, anxious, disconnected and overwhelmed. I have little inner peace I no longer enjoy things the way I used to and I often feel as though I am merely existing rather than actually living. There are three members in my family: my mother, my brother and me. My father has passed away. Life has felt much harder emotionally without him. At home I constantly feel on edge. My days often. End with my mother shouting, cursing, complaining or speaking to me in a hurtful tone. Even though she says she loves me I struggle with the way she treats me. I feel expected to tolerate whatever she says without responding or expressing my hurt. My younger brother is also frequently rude to me. I feel that he says negative things about me to my mother or other people creating more conflict within the family. I do not feel that my home is a place where I can rest feel understood or recover emotionally.

I have become extremely sensitive to shouting, harsh tones and conflict. I feel frightened and uncomfortable around people because I have experienced much unkindness and have come to expect negative treatment. At the time I feel trapped in my circumstances. I want to get somewhere peaceful even temporarily but I do not know where I could go or how I could build a life independently. I feel that my circumstances and the expectations placed on me limit my freedom. I do not feel that I have a support system or someone I can turn to when life becomes unbearable.

My emotional state is affecting my health and everyday functioning. I struggle to sleep and I wake up feeling tired, unhappy and mentally drained. My body feels stiff and tense I experience brain fog and memory difficulties. I often feel as though I have very little energy left. I sometimes feel emotionally numb. I used to cry but now there are times when I cannot even release the sadness I carry inside. Instead I feel empty, frustrated and disconnected from myself.

I am also struggling with my self-esteem and physical appearance. I worry about my skin, appearance, premature grey hair, hormonal health and other physical insecurities. I feel that the stress and unhappiness I experience every day are affecting how I look and how I carry myself. I no longer feel confident, feminine, lively or comfortable in my body. I look at myself negatively. Sometimes describe myself as ugly, unintelligent or miserable. I worry that my difficulties with concentration, memory and interactions mean that there is something fundamentally wrong with me. I also wonder whether I might be autistic or neurodivergent because I find social situations and sensory experiences difficult to manage.

I am not sure how much of what I experience comes from stress, possible mental health difficulties, physical health issues or a combination of these things. What I know is that I am struggling. I do not feel that I have the support or environment I need to recover. I feel as though I have to keep enduring everything while pretending that I am capable of handling it.

Sometimes it seems as though nothing good happens in my life. I feel unlucky, unwanted and forgotten. I struggle to imagine a future in which I feel loved, peaceful, confident or genuinely happy. I want affection, kindness, emotional security and the freedom to live without anticipating criticism or conflict. I want to feel that somebody cares about how I'm doing that my feelings matter and that I do not have to earn basic kindness by remaining silent or accepting mistreatment.

More, than anything I am tired of feeling this way. I do not want to spend every day feeling anxious, miserable, lonely and trapped. I want to heal. ....

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য Unable to find help for mental disorders and it's ruining my life.

18M.

I have undiagnosed AuDHD, cPTSD, neurodivergence(although I don't know much about it). I've been depressed ever since I can remember.

I don't understand much about these as I didn't really pay attention all my life, but recently my peers and teachers have been pointing it out.

Where do I go and what do I ask for? I know I need an evaluation on these.

Which doctor and how'll the procedure go?

I suffer from immense brain fog and short term memory loss too. The burnout is crazy. I've lost all comprehension skills, that's why I'm having trouble expressing myself properly.

I'm too tired to get into details on how it's ruining my life. I'll summarize it into 2 or 3 lines:

I'm an A levels student, I fucked up my o levels last May. It's getting worse day by day.

Hi, I am rn at my last year of A levels(A2 levels), so back when I was in my O levels I had a gf, but eventually my father found out and forced us to break up, but from that point onwards, its been more then 1 year and 1 month since then but I am an adult, and I was grounded, my phone was taken(which my dad did not even buy me himself) and I had clinical depression for months after my breakup, but in the last 1 year 1 month I have only gone out with my friends 3 times, yes 3 times, I am adult male who just because he dependent on his parents for his education cannot move out.

And even those 3 times he tracked my location, my father is paranoid men who is fucking headache

Further back then, I was way more open expressive and could talk to people well, now I am just socially drained, I stutter much more then before when people talk to me, I avoid talking to strangers, I feel that my father's narcisstic controlling behaviour has made me into anti social depressed and dude and then he asks why are you so anti social dude you kept me in a cage,

and in my entire life, of 20 years I have only gone out with friends only a dozen times

Yep in 20 years I have only gone out with my friends 12 fucking times, ain't that amazing?

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য এই সপ্তাহে আপনার সাথে ভালো কি কি ঘটেছে? (০১.১০.২৬ - ১০.১০.২৬)

হ্যালো Redditors,

My cousin who groomed me when I was a child is having a child .

I (24F) was groomed and sexually abused by my first cousin for three years starting when I was 8 and he was 16. It included touching and attempted penetration using fingers, along with coercive manipulation to get me to comply. My parents never taught me about good touch/bad touch, so I didn't know I should tell anyone. Even if they had, telling anyone was nearly impossible at the time — my father was in jail, and my cousin's mother was paying my school fees (about 400 taka/month; I grew up in a village) during those years.

It continued into my teens too — forced kissing when we were alone together and other unwanted physical contact. He never apologized for all that he did . When I confronted him at 15, he said it was "just for fun."

I've never told a single person — not my parents, not friends, no one . Becay my family is very conservative, and I was afraid they would blame me instead of him if they knew. I only recently learned the term "grooming" and realized what happened wasn't my fault, despite years of feeling complicit and ashamed.

He got married only five months ago, and since then other family members have been showering him with praise and approval , which infuriates me, given everything I know and they don't. I've kept minimal, forced contact with him and his wife at family events since I can't avoid them — they're relatives, and my parents actively push me to chit-chat with them at gatherings, unaware of any of this history. I avoid direct interaction with him and keep conversation with his wife to bare pleasantries. I don't wish him harm, but I feel no warmth toward him, and some relief when I hear his marriage has friction.

His wife is now two months pregnant. There's no specific pressure yet about the child, but given how my family already pushes me to be warm and social with this couple, I expect the same pressure will extend to being an affectionate, "sweet jovial aunt" to the baby once it's born.

How should my relationship be with his soon-to-be-born child? Will I be an asshole if I only see their face when forced to by my mom, rather than playing the enthusiastic-aunt role my family will expect?

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য Everything in My Life Feels Overwhelming Right Now. How Do I Handle It?

Hey everyone,

I'm 15+ years old and currently studying in Class 10. My test exams are going on, and I'm supposed to be focusing on my studies because my future academic results matter a lot. But lately, I've been struggling emotionally, and I honestly don't know how to handle everything anymore.

There are several things happening in my life at the same time.

1. Academic pressure:
My exams are really important to me, especially Mathematics. I'm scared of failing, and even though I want to study, my mind keeps getting distracted by everything else happening in my life. Sometimes I sit down to study, but I just can't focus properly.

2. Family problems and trust issues:
I've been having conflicts with my family over my use of headphones and Discord. My family became suspicious after hearing me talking to people online, and now I feel like they might misunderstand my intentions or judge my character. That feeling hurts a lot because I wish I could explain myself and be understood. The situation has also affected my ability to study comfortably.

3. Losing my comfort space:
Discord was never just an app to me. It was a place where I could talk to friends, join voice calls, laugh, share random stories, and temporarily forget about my problems. I've stepped away from Discord and other social media for now because of my situation and exams. I know I need to focus on my studies, but losing that part of my daily life has left me feeling empty and lonely.

4. Emotional attachment and missing people:
There are people I became emotionally attached to online, especially someone who was very important to me. Things have changed, and I'm trying to accept the distance, but the memories still affect me. Sometimes I miss the people, the conversations, and the happiness I felt during that time.

5. Feeling overwhelmed by everything:
The hardest part is that I can't even identify which problem hurts me the most anymore. Everything feels connected. When I try to focus on one thing, another thought comes into my mind. I'm worried about my exams, hurt by my family situation, missing my old routine, and feeling emotionally exhausted.

I also have interests and goals of my own. I want to continue learning front-end web development, improve myself, and build a better future. But right now, I feel stuck between my responsibilities and my emotions.

I'm not looking for sympathy or someone to tell me to simply forget everything and study. I genuinely want to learn how to manage my emotions without neglecting my education or constantly feeling guilty for being upset.

I'd really appreciate advice from people who have experienced something similar, especially those who understand what it's like to be a teenager dealing with family restrictions, exam pressure, loneliness, and emotional attachment at the same time.

  • How can I regain my concentration when my mind won't stop overthinking?
  • How do I cope with losing a social space that used to make me happy?
  • How can I deal with family misunderstandings without making things worse?
  • How do I balance my emotional well-being with important exams?
  • What would you tell your 15-year-old self if you were going through something similar?

Please be respectful. I'm still young, I'm learning how to handle life, and I genuinely want to get better at managing these things.

Thank you for reading.

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য What do I do about my academics?

So I come from a family where academics or sincerity towards studying has always been the top priority. There are people from Buet and DMC in my family. Actually, I was living up to their expectations for at least upto the 11th grade. For the record, I got 1200+ in ssc. But things abruptly began going south later. I was drowning in clinical depression and had to reach out for professional help. I was even suicidal. It even got to a point where I managed to fail 4 subjects in pretests. I was at an all time low during that period. Although I sort of did better in tests, my motivation and willpower kept crashing at the shore. It's like a loop of constant spikes of motivation followed by crashouts. My hsc results are about to be out by the middle of this November and I'm afraid I might not secure a gpa 5. At this point in time, I'm at a total loss regarding my future and I don't even have the confidence of securing one single seat in public unis. I just don't have faith in myself. Im feeling an immense pressure on my shoulders crushing me inside. How will I face my family? I just can't wrap my head around the sudden fall in my academics and hitting rock bottom. Also when I see my once-upon-a-time friends acing udvash weeklies, I drown in extreme despair. For the record, I lost friends after graduating school. These days I feel like simply disappearing from the plane of existence. Do others have similar experiences? Wanting genuine advice(plz don't sugarcoat)

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য How to deal with excessive stress

I am an admission candidate this year.

My hsc went disaster, I might not be able to apply some eng uni. I couldn't even concentrate all these days thinking of things might happen. I come from a very over dramatic, emotional family where being loser is not an option. 2 of my siblings both graduated from buet, du . This makes me feel very low. I was a bright student once. But after lockdown i just ended up became the dumbest person, I don't know why. I have been thinking of taking improvement with hsc 27 instead of attending admission this year . Would it be a wise decision? All these thoughts are eating me from inside. I feel lost

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য I need Suggestion please

I feel completely broke, hopeless, and worthless. I have never had a good relationship with my family, and whenever I go home, I feel neglected and abandoned. We barely talk, I usually just sleep and return to my university hall.

Since childhood, I have felt unappreciated by my parents. They rarely praised me for my achievements, and I cannot remember my father ever bringing me a gift when he returned from travelling. These experiences have made me feel insecure and unworthy for a long time.

Now, I am overweight, and mentally exhausted. I feel frustrated, worthless, and sometimes feel that my life has no purpose. I have lost motivation to attend classes and even to pray.People tell me that praying will help improve my condition, but I feel too exhausted and hopeless to pray. I have very little energy or motivation, and I often just lie in bed and sleep. I feel mentally and emotionally drained, and I don't know how to get out of this situation. I feel like I am already dead inside. I feel that I do not have the courage to die, but I am tired of living this way and feel completely hopeless.what should I do?

Mental Health/মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য My father broke his promise to help me financially and now am totally broke.

So when joined a private university rather than getting a job, my father said he would help me move out and start a life in Dhaka.

But now he backed out and says that I should try it by myself and am totally on my own. Even though it's not like my father doesn't have the money, he just doesn't want to for some reason.

The problem is without some starting cash can't move out, and there is no job in the rural area live (also studied CompSci, so fuck my life). What should I do ? probably have to be homeless now.
