I have a 12-track Baroque synth album coming out. Think Wendy Carlos vs. Massive Attack vs. Tangerine Dream vs. Tears for Fears vs. Giorgio Moroder. There's naturally a lot of Bach in there, but there's also a piece by Robert de Visée and Rameau was never far from my mind, either, while composing original pieces.

This is my fourth Baroque synth release and my proudest achievement. If you're into Stanley Kubrick movies, or Castlevania, or you just like psychedelic harpsichord, right this way please:

This Adagio is so beautiful

The tempo was quite fast, but there is fantastic energy in this performance in my opinion

An interesting arrangement in my opinion! I'd love to hear more recommendations for albums that combine Baroque music with other genres, feature unusual arrangements, or use instruments not typical of the Baroque era! Sometimes it is refreshing to check out experimental albums like this

was practicing a simple thing. a prelude. just four notes repeating. my cat on the couch listening then i hit the variation, the second voice. the one that comes in and argues with the first one. she got up, walked away. slow with dignity. like i had offended her personally. counterpoint is not for cats. one medlody is fine, she can handle one melody but two melodies talking to each other at the same time and she had to leave the room. i am no tsure if she was confused or offended. either way, she left and i kept playing. a cat, a bach prelude and a walk away that happened exactly when the second voice entered. timing is everything.
