£5 a ticket house, disco, garage and electro night
ra.coIf you're interested in electronic music got a good selection of djs playing at a well known university street spot this Saturday, cheaper than a pint tickets and good vibes aplenty. Check out the gig page if you're into your dance music!

Buying a family member’s house
My partner and I have agreed to buy his family members home once they find a house they want to buy. They have gave us a figure after getting the house valued which we think is ok but wouldn’t mind trying to negotiate.
Does anyone have any tips on the best way to go about the whole situation inc surveys valuation etc.

23M Actor & Gaeilgeoir Seeking Advice for move from NYC to Belfast
Dia, daoibh, a chairde! I'm an actor and Irish language teacher currently based in NYC (23M), and I have the option to move to Belfast next year on an HPI visa. I'm planning to move in April and to stay for 1-2 years. As I prepare, I had some questions I wanted to ask including;
- What is the social scene like for young people in Belfast? Is is accepting of LGBTQ people?
- Any insight into the theater world in Belfast? What's it like?
- How vibrant is the Irish language community? Gaeilge is a huge reason for my wanting to live there.
- Is it livable without a car?
- How hard is finding short-term sublet housing?
Any answers to these questions would be so greatly appreciated! Míle buíochas :)

Nice place for dinner in the city centre?
Hello, it's our anniversary and we have booked to stay for the night in a hotel in the city centre. We need to find somewhere to eat that's nice enough to get dressed up for, good food and nice surroundings. We will have our baby with us (only a few months old, very quiet and easy going so not worried about disturbing other diners)
We normally like Stix and Stones but they have no tables for the time we need, and I have now spent too long on trip advisor and Google, so any recommendations welcome. (I came across Berts Jazz bar on my search... any thoughts on that?)
Thank you in advance!

Who watched the Al Jazeera coverage on the far right and loyalist paramilitaries?
youtube.comCurious to see what others thought of it and what the fall out will be for Ross and Nesbitt especially.
If you've not seen it yet, it's on Live so I can't share with the timestamp but it aired about 90 minutes ago so you can scroll back.

Breakfast
Any recommendations for city centre breakfast places? Planning a big day out and usually would start in Harlem but last few times we have been it’s not been up to scratch so thinking we need to change up the venue.
Open to cuisines/price options.
Thanks in advance

Is the property market rubbish atm?
I’m genuinely curious if anyone in the property market knows what things are like at the moment.. this house near us doesn’t seem to be selling in east belfast - It looks perfectly fine and desirable location well presented etc, but it’s been on the market for months, which is not giving me any confidence in selling my own home any time soon if homes are just sitting there not getting agreed 😅

Mobile signal in this country / city is ridiculous
I know we all know it’s rubbish but honestly the only place to get a signal - decent signal is to be in the city centre.
Why the fuck do we all pay mobile bills for this rubbish.

Tourists Don't Leave The House
I let rooms out in my house on a short term basis to tourists visiting the country. I've been astounded by the amount of guests I have who check in and don't leave their room/house during their whole stay. Often only leave to nip to the shop and back.
Is this common, What is this mindset? Why would you pay all this money travelling then not actual travel?
