I just took a quick trip to Biarritz and it was great. Beautiful town, nice people and caught a couple fun small waves. I was able to rent a good board form Colors of Surfing.

Hey folks, 28M Irlandais arriving in Biarritz from Wednesday until Sunday, and looking for recommendations, for cultural activities, good bars, restaurants, and nightlife! I have plans to go to the AB-Stade Français game on Saturday too (don’t shoot me; there are no Biarritz games this weekend haha).
Appreciate any help you can offer!

Hi!
I'm mostly posting this so no one else runs into the issue my friend and I are now dealing with. Basically, we we're doing a little road trip from France to Spain and we were going to use the Alsa busses to cross the border and save some cash on the rental car fees.
Everything on the Alsa website, the bus ticket they give you, and the interactive map they provide, put the bus stop location at the side of the airport, facing a parking lot.
The actual location is the FRONT of the airport, same place as the city buses. We even did check there, but there's only a single paper sign marking Alsa's parking spot in the middle of the city bus parking lot. We missed that sign until after we saw our bus walk away.
Anyway we're still feeling a bit dumb, and it was very frustrating, but we bought tickets with a different bus company and made do.
And to make my post a little more searchable on Google: Alsa bus location for Biarritz to San Sebastian: in FRONT, with the public city buses

Je me demande surtout :

I'm going to Biarritz next week on a short surfing trip. I plan to go with my brother also in either late June or July. I see on Airbnb, which is the main accommodation app in the world at this point, there isn't that many places suitable for 2 or 3 people with a reasonable price tag. Is there any other source of apps where you can view accommodation on short-term lettings?
Thanks

Hi! What is car parking like in Biarritz? I need to find a place for 1 week near Grand Plage area. Any good options or suggestions appreciated. Car parks? I found https://www.indigoneo.fr/ but it says the options are all full despite my dates being a month away.

Hi all, we’re organizing a casual football game in Bayonne this week and looking for a few more players to join. All levels welcome, no team needed — just come, play, and have fun. Great way to meet people and get a game in. If you’re interested, comment DM me and I’ll send the details or just simply use the link to sign up!

need to consult a semi-injury and my stretching routine, unfortunately I don't speak French.
While i'm here - can I take a 7'6" surfboard on the txik txak bus?
Merci!

Just stayed at Alfred Hotel Port Vieux in Biarritz and I'm completely blown away. The location is unbeatable — right by the Port Vieux beach, steps away from the ocean with stunning views of the Basque coast.
The vibe is super cool, the rooms are beautifully designed, and the whole place just feels like the perfect base to explore Biarritz. Whether you're surfing, eating pintxos in the old town, or just watching the sunset — this hotel makes everything better.
Highly recommend if you're planning a trip to the Basque Country. Biarritz is magical and this place does it justice. 🏄♂️🌅

Hi! We moved to Biarritz this last summer, and my 16 year old is really struggling to connect with anyone. We're from Montreal, and her French is excellent, but she misses English and I think she'd like to find other English speakers. Does anyone know of any teen-friendly art classes or English language social groups? She's not a party girl and her interests are more books/comics than sports. Thank you!
