Hello everyone!
We didn't allow youtube links for a long time, because most of those posts were offtopic spam. But lately we have not seen any of that, just people posting cloud video's. So from now on youtube video's are allowed again. It irks a bit against the no advertising rule, but if people behave and don't get too self promotional it should be fine.
Have fun and mostly thank you so much for all the wonderful cloud pictures and video's you share.

Didn't noticed this when driving. But watching my recordings - ugh. So satisfying, it makes me happy!

I took this picture on a back road I had to turn on to capture said picture. A feller on a tractor was looking at me crazy.

Thought it looked really beautiful, like the silver scales of a fish

Sometimes, the simplest things make you feel the happiest. Just a little sunshine clouds moving across the sky and a peaceful view from the car window. Nothing extraordinary just one of those little moments that makes you appreciate the beauty around you. ☁️☀️🤍

On my walk tonight (in Berlin, Germany) I noticed this weird line in the clouds - does somebody know how a line like this develops, is it maybe like a condensation trail by planes, but inverse?
The clouds/the line was moving rather quickly, as you see from the position of the moon, I was only there for maybe 5 minutes. The last two pictures have an additional line in an angle to the first line, not as defined.
The pictures are not good pictures of the moon as I only had my cameraphone, but I tried different settings. The moon in reality looked also very beautiful with a kind of lightly coloured prism aura because of the light clouds before it. In spite of the light clouds before/around the moon you could still make out the details and the shadows on the surface of the moon.

I've been feeling pretty down and sad lately. Today, I decided to get a massage and went on my daily walk afterwards. When I got home, I was taking a moment to fulfill a Finch goal, "Look at the sky and appreciate its beauty". I ALWAYS do this at night because I love the night sky.
My jaw literally dropped when I looked up and saw this. I started freaking out and called my SIL to see if she could see it from where she was in the city.
This started out as a rough day but this has been beautiful. So happy about this omgggg 🖤😭🌈
Edit - apparently it's not a sun dog, it's a circumzenithal arc (?)
Either way, I'm so grateful to have seen it!🖤
