We are a tea community in Eindhoven! We’re excited to announce our first Steep Sessions Tea Weekender, happening at Plug in City on 21 and 22 November.

We’re a tea community in various forms - exploring tea from ceremony and music to food and everything in between. This weekender is an invitation to discover the many ways tea can be experienced, enjoyed, and shared.

Hey Eindhoven, I’m Luana, a Romanian freelance comedian based in Amsterdam, and I’m bringing How to Catch a Cheater to LAB-1 this Saturday, almost sold out tho, but still need abit of help.

I write, organise and tour these shows myself, so yes, it’s me inviting you, between doing the admin and questioning my career choices.

The show mixes dark comedy, funny storytelling, intuitive crowdwork and a little poetry about cheating, open relationships, kinks, miscarriages and breast lumps. Specifically, three miscarriages, two threesomes and one breast lump. All mine.

I’d love a room full of different people and perspectives. Come alone, bring friends, bring your partner if you’re feeling confident. You’re welcome to join the crowdwork, but you can also just sit and enjoy.

I recently spoke with Eindhoven photographer and visual arts teacher LukeDaDuke, who has been documenting the city’s street art and everyday scenes for years.

What I found interesting is that his photography isn’t really about making Eindhoven look polished. A lot of it is about things that can disappear without much warning: a sticker, a mural, a snackbar that has been in a neighbourhood for decades, or simply a moment most people cycle past.

We talked about how he started with stickers in the late 90s, why photographing an artist while they work can become more than documentation, his Frituur Cultuur project about Eindhoven snack bars, and Sleeping Beauties — a series he has worked on since 2006.

One quote that stuck with me:

“Design, technology and innovation: that is Eindhoven. But we forget art.”

I dropped my Samsung phone and now it refuses to boot up. Most repair stores only swap batteries, screens or cameras. I'm looking for a store that can repair the motherboard, via microsoldering. Sadly no more Samsung warranty as it is 3,5 years old. And yes, I tried GSM Eindhoven.

Apart from using a concealer (I’m sure in a very non professional way) I haven’t used much make up. I have bought myself some cheap drugstore brands over the years such as essence, catrice, maybelline, L’Oréal etc. now I really want to step up and try fancy, high end products- Giorgio Armani, Haus labs, Charlotte tilbury foundation, the setting powders, sprays etc.

I am struggling to find a place to get swatches for all these brands. Do you know of any stores / make up artists that can advise me?

I tried bijenkorf but without knowing where to start it’s kind of overwhelming!

Hi, I'm (27M) athletic and trying to learn some form of self defense, I'm flexible on timing and location. I surfed the web and most of the classes they are for kids, has anyone already been going for training in Eindhoven? I'm not yet keen on which one (Kickboxing, jiujitsu, etc) any advice would be appreciated.

Eerder gespot in Rotterdam, zie ‘m nu ook op Eindhoven Centraal.

We hebben verbouwplannen voor ons huis. Deels milieu maatreegelen (isolatie en glasvervanging maar ook warmtepomp), deels van raam naar schuifpui of tuindeuren al dan niet met serre.

En dan nog een optie om ook een vergunning plichtige aanpassing te doen.

We willen zonder architect werken maar hebben al wel goede tekeningen.

Een bouwkundige tekenbureau lijkt de snelste stap naar een vergunning én naar een netwerk van kozijnenboeren of aannemers.

Wie heeft goede ervaringen hier in de regio?

(zo'n digitaal bureau op afstand staat ons niet echt aan, maar deel gerust als je dat wèl aanraadt)
