Sometimes I know I can close other tabs without going to them, so this can be useful.

It works this way on other web browsers I use, so I hope it's possible here too.

So, i have some addons installed to prevent accidents or urges, but on impulse i end up deactivating them so i looked up a way to prevent them from deactivating and that's where i came across enterprise policy via a policies.json file or the Windows Registry, is it true that i can stop deactivating or deleting addons using that?

And can it be used on floorp aswell?

And how can i properly set it up if possible?

Basically stated as above. Floorp is getting lot of more features like vivaldi browser, which has been my longest use but I really need floorp to implement speed dial. Makes it extremely easy to switch between the stake of information. Also, there are surely ways to get it in extensions, but some extensions on update behave differently and breaks website, also the load time becomes higher because of extensions. Thank you.

Recently certificate authority eMudhra had 8 of its private certificates leaked and decided to revoke it. Mozilla revoked it using its OneCRL system, and if for some reason browser can't use OneCRL mozilla also released firefox 158.0.1.

How is that situation looking on floorp? Does it have propper OneCRL support, and if not do we have to wait for new release of floorp?

Hi, I've tried installing Floorp on two different laptops, one being fresh out of the box and the other is about 6 years old, and both times I've gotten six MSVCP140.dll missing errors that I've had to click through during the installation process.

Looking it up, it says that problem with windows or something is because you need visual studio? Is that right? The same thing happens when I tried installing an older version.

If anyone can confirm or deny this, that'd be greatly appreciated.

specifically media.peerconnection.enabled keeps going back to false every few days

Searched around google and this subreddit but nobody seem to have this problem (well some have, but there's zero solutions i've found so far). In Firefox this was caused by Studies and it's so far has been fixed by simply turning it off, but disabling Floorp's equivalent in Floorp Hub>Updated & Experiments have yielded no result

Every single thread on reddit which has a video is not playing. Updated Floorp earlier today or yesterday, now nothing on Reddit plays video. Not even thumbnails are generating.

Edit: I'd like to add that not even image posts are loading. Images are just showing up black. I opened Reddit in Edge and everything loads fine.

I just opened floorp today and it's crashing every time, was working perfectly yesterday.

As of yesterday my tab count was probably into the thousands, but performance was perfect, and all of that while only using some (single digit) gigs of ram.

Any fix for this? My tabs are of extreme importance.

It seems like Floorp is unable to show notifications on the sidebar items, which makes the sidebar significantly less useful.

I generally place all my messaging apps, like Google Messenger, Facebook Messenger, Watsapp, etc. in the sidebar, so that I can just glance, see if there is a message and continue working in the browser.

But unlike other browsers with sidebars, Floorp appears to only store a static favicon and never watches for changes.

Is there a way to fix this with a script (I doubt it), and if not, Floorp should really address this to make the sidebar more useful and in line with the expected behavior of sidebar items.

Is there a good Read Aloud option that can be used with Floorp?

The native FF Read Aloud has terrible screeching sounds ar the end of each paragraph, in addition to the lame 1980s-like voices (on a Mac).

I am hoping for something like Edge's Read Aloud, and for free :)

I've been using Floorp for... I wanna say 3 years? I love it, to me it fills every need i would get from a browser. I have noticed that over the last few weeks, my homepage has started to break little by little. Now I have no logos for any of the pinned sites.

even if i try to manually add an icon, it won't let me. I know it is a minor issue, but i usually go by either muscle memory or just the icon for the less used websites. does anyone else experiencing this? (like the right click menu that is going around right now, i have that as well).

I just want to know if there is something i can do on my side, and if anyone else also have this.

theres been this known issue where if you select the US location on the built in VPN, it shows as as singapore. It wasnt always like this but one day it randomly changed and was never fixed again . (sorry for bad english)
