Hi guys, bagong lipat lang kami ng house and would like to ask suggestion for plants na pwede ilagay sa may gate area or Lanai. We are west facing kaya nakatutok yung afternoon sun. My worry is baka hindi mag thrive yung plants because of the harsh sun. Can you recommend a plant na pang malakasan yung hindi sensitive sa araw. We tried to have Alocasia and na sun burn yung mga leaves, I dont know if nag aadjust pa lang sa new environment or not meant talaga sila sa direct sun   

So, eto na nga, yung kalabasa ko lumabas yung vines at nag invade na sa side walk kaya tinabas ko na yung mga naka takas. I was pulling out the stray vines, when I saw na meron palang bunga. OMG laking gulat ko, kasi I've been trying to hand pollinate pero never nag success! Pero ito pala, may nagtatago sa ilalim ng bushes. Hehe, pwede na siguro toh noh? For context po: Sa soil namin we were able to grow, pomegranate, avocado (no bunga yet), guyabano, macopa, papaya, passion fruit (no bunga).

Hello po! Natutuwa lang ako i-share ang aming puno ng siling demonyo hahaha. Tinanim ko po lang ito dati sa paso tapos nilipat namin sa labasan. Nakakatuwang tingnan kasi maraming dahon at bunga. Pati mga kapitbahay namin ay nabibigyan po namin. Sa susunod po mag try naman ako mag tanim ng kamatis at okra. Sa mahal ng gulay ngayon, nakaka enganyo po mag tanim na lang hahaha yun lamang po!

Daming tipaklong at langgam sa hardin ko. Where there are ants there are also aphids.

Eto na mga na try ko, and they don't or just barely survive and not worth harvesting. Kangkong, any types of pechay, okra, tomato. May roses din ako na halos kalbo na.

So far yung mga sumasakses lng ay luya, kamote, malunggay at alubati.

May sili labuyo din ako. But mag orange lng ng kaunti kinakain na din ng mga ibon.

Home gardening lang naman so not going into any type of pesticide. I try try ko sana via biological control, like a duck or chicken. Pero hindi ako pinayagan ng landlady.

So any suggestions?

Now, bumili ako ng lemon balm & spearmit plants sa tagaytay nung isang araw lang. Paano po kaya ito tatagal ng hindi sya namamatay?

Bumili na din po pala ako ng lavender. Gusto ko itong gawing indoor kasi sa kwarto nga dahil mabango sya at anti stress (daw) e alangan ilabas ko lang sya sino gagamutin nyan dun? HAHAHA sufficient na kaya yung light sa window or need talaga sa arawan?

I really wanted to plan these two for many ages ago pa, pero hindi ko alam paano at wala din time. Ngayon, gustong magtanim ng kalachuchi at madre de cacao dahil sa ganda nila at bango ng kalachuchi.

Honestly, the reason why I love these two is because of their beauty and of course, their appearance to my eyes. At least kapag nawala ako, hindi na sila maglalagay o bibili ng sampaguita para bumango, meron namang kalachuchi na maamoy nila sa tabi at garden ng bahay.

Hi! Is there any organic systemic available in the PH? Or what do you recommend to combat plant pests? Root mealies, spider mites, etc. on potted plants.

Currently using diluted castile soap + neem oil to fight these pests. Just checking if there’s any organic systemic available 😊

I’m avoiding chemical-based since I will also use it for outdoor plants.
