My first rc plane!
My first rc plane!
Will it fly I just have to mount the motor and the front wheel
The design is very unusual,I made sure the center of gravity is fine

Hey everyone,
I have a dream. Not a huge, world-changing, life-altering dream. Just a simple one. A tiny little dream.
And that dream is to ride a bicycle in the sky. Finally, at my ripe old age (have mercy, Millennials!), I sat down and put together a basic concept that might actually work.
For your enjoyment, the concept is right here:
https://e-cross.ai.studio/
Iād love to hear your thoughts and honest feedback on the feasibility, the demand, and the challenges ahead of me.
With much love and appreciation,
A fellow Gen-Xer

Or, buy the rudder kit at least. I posted about the S-21 yesterday, convinced it was my answer for a future float plane, and I'm now almost convinced it's the CH750 Super Cruzer, which I didn't even know about.
The CH750 Super Cruiser has 50% more useful load and half the build time (only 400 hours!). But it is not nearly as good looking as the S-21; it's like an old Volvo. They're boxy but they're safe.
I would want a Rotax 916 either way, which would require a third-party FWF from Skytek in BC but it exists.
Edit: I did it! I mailed my check for the rudder kit and tools today!

I live in the Puget Sound area. I've been wanting to build a Kitfox on floats since I was a teenager. But the all-aluminum construction, faster build, cheaper cost, shorter wait-time, and better usable load of the S-21 seems like a no-brainer.

I recently saw a playlist of videos featuring Kyle Franklinās Oshkosh routine in the Kitfox Speedster and from just a cursory glance it seems like the speedster specifically was designed for the purposes of light āCitabria styleā acro. I canāt seem to find anyone thatās actually used one for that aside from Mr Franklin though. Obviously, with a limit load of +5.7/-2.3 it doesnāt qualify for the aerobatic category strictly, but I canāt really see any other reason why they would offer a clipped wing with full span flaperons.
Google says that acro is not recommended for a Kitfox and even the few articles Iāve found say that itās not endorsed as an acro machine but again, that kinda seems like the whole purpose for its existence so what gives?

My Gaz'aile 2 got its rudder installed and inspected by Atlas the shop cat/FAA inspector.

My boyfriend has purchased a Kitfox and is in the process of working out delivery. We've run into a snag with finding a personal customs broker to be able to get it over the border. What customs brokers have others used? We're in western Canada.

Hello all.
A few days ago I had a forced landing in my Thruster T600N when my 503 went down to one cylinder. I was 550ft AGL doing some sightseeing and when I applied power to climb out, it coughed, wheezed and gave me nothing.
Put it down safely in the perfect farmers field. 8" lush grass with a firm but smooth base of soil beneath; nicer than some runways.
Today I pulled the engine off and started stripping it down. As you can see in the images, the MAG piston is completely cooked. Looks like the flame path melted through the crown to the exhaust port.
I purchased the aircraft a while ago from someone who was attempting to rebuild it. By their own admission they weren't technical and I shouldn't have taken their word for it when they told me the head bolts were torqued down. As I was stripping the aircraft the head bolts were almost only finger tight!
I had been fighting high (but not above max) EGT readings for a while, and I suspect that air had been getting in from under the head and into at least the MAG cylinder.
I'll get the cylinder cleaned up and honed (rebored if necessary, but I think it's all aluminium from the piston, rather than gouges I to the bore). And new pistons. While I'm there I'll rebuild the crankshaft and clean up the crank case (there will be debris in there that will need cleaning, so the crank has to come out either way).
Might also rebuild the B type gearbox while I'm here.
Hope this is of interest to some of you folks flying 503's

I'm looking at an airpark property that currently has 1500'x60' and 2800'x60' grass strips. The elevation is 1000' and it's in the Midwest. My question is, would you purchase there if you intended to build an RV10 in the future? As far as I can tell it is well maintained.

Looking to start a long ez derivative build, has anyone bought plans from terf Inc in the last decade? Their website looks terrible.
Alternatively, have the open ez plans matured enough to be used on their own?

Iām honestly debating that Iām not liking to see pre-2016 cirrus sr aircraft modified with the doors that are the same signature of 2016 models including G6, G7 and G7+ models wich are offered by TC airparts. And Ivāe already sent this on online with a 2015 cirrus sr22T G5 registered as N8GS and at Oshkosh with a 2010 cirrus sr22T registered as N241GS. Like what if this could create ambiguity for certain aircraft buyers. And furthermore I would for sure love to see the door mechanisms and assemblies on any modified pre-2016 cirrus SR with doors which are a signature of 2016 cirrus sr aircraft, including G6-G7+ model to become worn and lose their structural integrity and the doors would pop and fly off and likely strike the tail of the fin of the aircraft and the aircraft loses control which would cause the pilot to pull CAPS and land the aircraft safely and the plane no longer becomes airworthy. Because that could result in this door upgrade offering by TC airparts to become discontinued. And Iām not joking that Iām actually expressing enthusiasm of being delighted to see this happen š. And itās actually not less enthusiasm of me wanting to see this

I am 16 years old and I want to build an airplane. The only problem is the budget. I can't go up to my mom and ask for 5.000ā¬, so naturally I started browsing through LinkedIn. Getting a standard job at 16 that can assure me 5.000⬠by the end of the year proved to be impossible. So I thought, I should use my best skill and make money out of it. I am a self-taught artist and can draw in any art style, I can draw anything and everything and I hope I don't get myself arrested because of it.
(My art will be on my profile most probably)
Details:
I specialize in realism
I can't do digital art as well as on paper but I've had experience with it and will do my best.
If you want me to ship your drawing to you, there will be shipping costs
I am using graphite and coal
Only black and white drawings
A drawing is either 15⬠or 20⬠depending on the difficulty
Half the payment before the drawing and half after the drawing is done
I use PayPal only
I accept tips and will be eternally grateful and devoted to you for as long as I live if you decide to tip
Reminder that I can draw anything your heart desires
If you want to buy my art or donate it would help me unimaginably
Every single dollar/ euro will go towards the materials, tools and stuff to make the airplane. By supporting me you are building an airplane from the ground up.
If I end up making this dream come true I will post a video of me flying it.
