Hey psy heads, I am sharing my latest dark prog set from PikantoFM.

After doing the front-of-house visuals at The Void DNB indoor festival in Utrecht, the PikantoFM crew kindly invited me to play a set at their show.
They are lovely guys and it was certainly my honor to play some Psy on a DNB heavy radio show hehe!

Another psychedelic dancefloor setup from my Shiva Om Art project, custom-made in collaboration with The Colors Of Yantra.

This UV canopy has additional layers of transparent printed mesh, creating extra depth and shifting visual effects as you move around the dancefloor. The overlapping patterns change with your viewing angle, especially under blacklight.

I've been creating psychedelic festival decorations for over 20 years, with my artwork making its way to parties and festivals around the world.

Still love seeing these spaces come alive under UV lights!

Yesterday was a day of protest in France, after hours of walking (and a few drinks) I couldn't find sleep so I switched on the deck and made this set. You'll find tracks from Lunatica, Ingrained instincts, Kabayun, Drip drop or Jumpstreet.

Anyone going solo to Hilltop Festival 2027?
I’m looking to connect with like-minded psytrance people, meet a good crew, and share the festival experience. Where are you all travelling from?

Hello there, it will be my first time.in goa and i would love to go to the Enter the Void event. The thing is, that the ticket is 80euros online but i ve read that at the gate, like 3/4 in the morning, you can find it less than 50euros. Is it true? Worth the risk or not? Generally how is goa around this period, are there a lot of.psy events? Is it easy to find trips?

I've been working on Cybergrass PsyLead Lab, a browser-based tool for creating Psytrance lead melodies.

The idea is to generate two related melodic lines – a question and an answer – rather than just random notes. You can experiment with scales, rhythms, variation, note density and timing, preview the results in your browser, and export the leads as MIDI for your DAW.

It's still a work in progress, and I'd love to hear what other producers think.
Does the question-and-answer approach feel musical? What would you improve or add?

We made “Psy2K” as a tribute to the early-2000s psytrance tracks that shaped us and got us hooked. The track is basically a medley of that era’s familiar melodies, samples, sounds, and ideas woven into one new track. Our love letter to that early psytrance vibe.

Why is Boom so much about nationality and politics?

First they talk about "psychedelic experience" then they talk about nationality and then they say that about transcending nationality and then they show proudly the origin per nationality.
They're so heavily politically active.

I built Map of Psy — one interactive map of the whole psytrance scene, so you don't have to check five different sites to find out where a festival is and who's playing.

What you can do:

• 🌌 Galaxy — every psytrance subgenre is a star system (Goa, Full-on, Dark, Forest, Hi-tech, Prog, Psybient…), and the artists orbit them. Click one to hear their tracks. Tap ♡ to build your own playlist and play it all in a row.
• 🗓 Events — upcoming festivals and parties worldwide (from Goabase + ones organizers add here), on a list and a world map. Filter by country, genre, weekend or "near me". Mark "I'm going", save events, get a reminder.
• 🎧 Artists, labels, festivals, crews — each has a page with next gigs, past gigs, sound and links. Follow them and get a weekly email when they play near the dates you care about.
• 🙋 Are you a DJ, producer, label, festival or organizer? Get your page for free: make it, or claim the one that's already there. Add your photo/logo, bio, links and your own events with a stage-by-stage timetable.

It's a solo project and still growing. If something is wrong or missing, there's a "Report a mistake" button on every page.

There was something about late 90s / early 2000s psytrance that felt like everyone was still trying to figure out what the genre could be. Different artists sounded radically different from each other, melodies were legendary and iconic, production was imperfect, and there seemed to be less of an established formula for what a psytrance track was “supposed” to do. It felt futuristic, creative and exciting.

This ended up inspiring a new track we made called PSY2K. This is our love letter to some of that early 2000s feeling and our tribute to the tracks that got us hooked on psytrance and led us down this path.
