What do you think 🤔

In RoboCop 2 during the beginning Nuke lab raid, when when a criminal takes a baby as a hostage, Robo tells Lewis to “hang it up”. Now I know that RoboCop is basically a supercop (as he was referred to in the first movie) but my question for the group is does that mean he outranks Lewis? The first day they met they were both officers and she was basically his training officer and the one who made the decision to go into Boddicker’s lair without backup. In retrospect she obviously fucked up that call but does that mean Murphy calls the shots now? Is it her guilt for getting him killed? Or did he get promoted after saving the life of The Old Man? Thank you for reading.

Hello!

A few months ago I shared and early sketch of this guy, my plan is to model him on 3D and maybe do a short animation.

Thanks!

I'm a big fan of comic book covers that pay homage to iconic movie posters! Here's a list of covers that pay homage to the Robocop movie poster - https://leagueofcomicgeeks.com/profile/galko/lists/138670/movie-poster-homage-robocop-1987

"Dead or alive, you're coming with me!"

When Richard tells Mr. Kinney to "use your gun in a threatening manner," Kinney points it at Rich. Rich corrects him and says "point it at ED 209" like Kinney effed up. But Kinney didn't screw up. The fucking thing isn't advanced enough to recognize that one person pointing a gun at another is "threatening." I'm VERY disappointed, DICK.

In RoboCop during the boardroom ED-209 scene, Dick Jones volunteers Mr. Kinney to be the test subject for an arrest (which goes horribly wrong). My question for the group is had Jones volunteered Morton or Johnson for the demonstration do you think they would’ve done it or turned it down? I think Jones picked Kinney because he knew he was a twerp (as Morton pointed out earlier in the movie so news probably got around ) and wouldn’t say no but he wasn’t so sure about the other junior execs. Thank you for reading

I thought it was an absolute blast! Loved it! What are your thoughts?

I can't remember if it was a post here or on the Terminator sub, but someone posted the Terminator in Robo gear figure and it reminded me I had never read the comics from the 90s.

Found#1 and was delivered today.

£11.70 inc delivery BUT with that I also got 5 other #1 comics and a #2 (not Robocop or Terminator but ones I wanted to read like Firefly)

Thanks for the reminder stranger.

So law enforcement as an institution has come under fire for issues like entrenched corruption, racism and being used to solve problems it really shouldn't and the like, and how should this manifest in a new verison of Robocop?

Taking into account all RoboCop Media, is there anything in particular you’d like to have worked into the new series or things you’d want it to avoid?

For example, would you like it to further explore the impact of Murphy’s death on his family, or would you like to see more of the other officers within metro west? Just a couple of thoughts to get the conversation flowing, but want to hear your thoughts.

Wow how do you mess it up this badly! "I'll be back!"

I watch robocop at least once a year but I’m wondering if there’s an annual tradition that might make sense. I do gremlins at Christmas. Too many to mention during October. Of course groundhogs day in February and major league during spring training. But robocop is special enough to me I’d like to give it its time. Any ideas would be appreciated

I saved some money by mounting it on an acrylic rifle wall mount
