Transfer News Jadon Sancho offered cut-price contract by Getafe. La Liga side would pay former Man Utd winger just over £10,000 each week, a massive cut from his £250,000-a-week days at Old Trafford.
telegraph.co.ukCash-strapped Getafe have proposed paying Sancho just €400,000 (£335,000) in wages from now until June. The 26-year-old is believed to have been paid around £250,000 a week at United where his contract expired at the completion of the last campaign.
The former England international has been a free agent since then, meaning he can be signed at any time, and is attracted by the idea of playing in La Liga. He recognises it could also be a good shop window to kickstart his career.
The winger has therefore not ruled out joining Getafe, despite wages of just over £10,000-a-week, and wants to meet under-pressure coach José Bordalás before making his final decision. Bordalás has accused the club of failing to deliver on recruitment and squad depth.

Transfer News [Sami Mokbel, BBC] There is a sense from those close to Vinicius Jr that any move to Arsenal would be difficult. For most South American footballers, playing for Madrid or Barcelona is a lifelong ambition. Leaving for a club as illustrious at Arsenal - would be viewed as, at best, a sidewards step.
bbc.comWith Real being arguably the biggest club on the planet, there is a sense that leaving the Bernabeu would also impact the player's commercial brand.
Talks over a new Real deal for Vinicius are expected to ramp up in the coming days.
It is claimed the forward is still very receptive to renewing at the Bernabeu but "wants to feel loved". Recent reports have stated that new manager Jose Mourinho wants to keep all his big names at the club.
But there is serious jeopardy for Real if they keep Vinicius without renegotiating his contract. The scenario of the Brazilian leaving for nothing in 2027 would represent a financial catastrophe, even for a club as cash rich as them.
With that in mind, resolving the situation one way or another is understandably viewed as a priority for Real before the transfer deadline.
As it stands Vinicius can start speaking to rival clubs about a free transfer move away from Real at the turn of the year. Leaving on a free will be far more lucrative in terms of wages to the attacker than leaving this summer, when the buying club has to find a transfer fee.

Transfer News Arsenal are prepared to offer Vinícius Júnior the biggest contract in the club’s history as they plot a signing to outline their soaring ambition.
telegraph.co.ukThe figures of what it would potentially take to get him have been discussed and Telegraph Sport understands finance will not be a barrier to their aims.
They made a statement earlier this year when Bukayo Saka was rewarded with a contract worth about £365,000 per week, that will rise each year, and it is Arteta’s desire to keep together a squad that ended Arsenal’s 22-year wait to win the title and build on their success.
