Having issues with gen chem 2 with Dr. Hayden. I’ve heard other people also having trouble with this class. Is there anyone who’s taken this class who has any resources/websites with practice problems that would help in any way?

I just got accepted into UAB for a transfer situation and I tried to look at housing and they told me it's a lottery system...how lucky do you have to get for this? I don't own a car and I've been struggling to find a job. Should I just apply to another university? Or do you know any more methods to get housing?

Hey, if anyone is selling their scrub sets/tops/jackets please let me know! I wear a medium in mens. Reply to this if you have anything and I’ll give u my contact info

I purchased the Fall/Spring - Zone B parking permit, but I think I'll be taking all online classes next semester, so I won't be on campus at all. Is it possible to switch my permit to just Fall and get a refund? I emailed OneStop and they told me to talk to the transportation office, so I emailed them, and haven’t gotten a response. Tried calling today, but no answer and their voicemail inbox is full.

I am a student at FSU in Cybercriminology (Computer Science concentration), and I discovered after my first semester that it is not what I thought it was at all. It is essentially computer science and criminology classes with no correlation, and one computer forensics class taken senior year. I was admitted into Digital Forensics at UAB for fall 26, but ultimately did not choose it. Before I do transfer, I want to make sure that I am making the right choice. Can someone in the digital forensics program provide some insight into the program? Is it worth the investment, and do you feel like you are actually learning a great deal about digital forensics? My issue with FSU is that it is all just programming classes with nothing relating to how this might be applied in cybercrime spaces or digital forensics. I plan on getting my master's in Digital Forensics at UCF with the goal of working as a digital forensics investigator. Also, at FSU, I am the only woman I know in the program. I understand computer science is widely male-dominated, but are there any women in it? Any information would be helpful before I take this big step in life!!

As the title states, just looking to see what’s the lowest gpa someone has gotten into the BSN program with.

I’m transferring to UAB in the spring and was wondering if anyone is down to be roommates.

hoping someone knows, honestly the cost of blount is absurd and the bullshit from the RA's is insane, im just so ready to leave. but, do i still have to pay spring? it sounds like thats what its saying, but if its true then thats just fucking absurd

Why does the parking portal ask for my card info if it didn't even use it. I thought I paid for my parking pass but now I'm paying for a dumb af flex plan and a late fee for the stupid flex plan. They won't waive the fees, any excuse to take my money I guess.

People in Bio 123 who would you pick to be your professor again and why

Has anyone heard or been accepted to the spring 2027 BSN Cohort at UAB? I havent heard anything back yet when do they usually come out?

Hi! If anyone has any experience with UAB employee tuition assistance, I would appreciate some information.
I have one more year until I graduate (December 2027). I have a lot of things going on next fall, so I was hoping to end my employment before graduation. I read and understand that you have to be a full time eligible employee up until the last date to drop a course which is October 7th. My question is, could I turn in my 1 month notice on September 7th/8th and not be penalized to pay my tuition back to them? Or would I have to wait until October 7th to turn in my 1 month notice?

Hoping to transfer in spring 27 to UAB - anyone majoring in computer science that can provide some advice or recommendations? Coming from another community college with 56 credits

I want to get my phlebotomy cert, so I was curious if anyone's taken the class for it. Is it excessively difficult or time-consuming? Thanks!

Hello,

I am a high school senior and currently applying to colleges. UAB is as of right now my top choice, but I am not sure that my celiac disease will be accommodated, as the disability counselor could not guarantee safe food for me. This is a big issue since having food does happen to be human necessity 🫩
Can anyone provide perspective?
