Discussion The new UI is great

I haven't played this game in a bit, but now coming back to it, the UI is so snappy, in the past there would be loading circles in most of the menus, lagging behind when tapping different sub menus etc, now it just feels so good, i like it

Gameplay How does this happen?

Have you ever had a situation where your flash went in the opposite direction from where you intended? In this case, the enemy was the unlucky one, but I sometimes get these weirdly misdirected flashes too. I don't know if it might be because of sweaty fingers, but I've been noticing these weird flashes pretty often lately.

Builds The only Heartsteel angle currently in the game

I find this item not so great in many matchups and mostly none at all, but there is one champ I enjoy building this item. Wukong and his clone, the clone last only for short duration on first level, but it’s enough time to stack, if you time it perfectly. I got 1373 stacks in the end in 19:01 game. Footage has Kai’sa with Kraken and Yummi on her back, would I call it close ? Nah..

Rank/Achievement Master Tier!

Finally made it to Master rank after playing for so long. Now I'm curious what I should do next. Continue working in ranked or go to Legendary?

Trying to figure out how I should Continue my gameplay as I'm still rusty with a few lane options and don't want to bring my team down.

Post image

I want that smolder pose but I need to expend 700 wild star for it. I am short 10 or 20 wild star I think. Anybody knows if one can purchase it after this wild pass phase (38 days) expires. It says 38 days here, so its not available after to buy from it?

Discussion Sharing one of my best tip / revelation in Wild Rift. Share one too if u want.

You might have heard this before but its still hard for most of us to wrap our heads around it. Killing a player in wild ritt gives very little gold. A Creep wave gives more gold than a player kill. Look, i am not say its bad to kill other champs, its bad to only be chasing kills and wasting time only worrying about kills than actually focusing on last hittng and getting creep waves. If your GPM (Gold Per Minute) is less than 800 per game on average, then you have some work to do. I used to waste so much time trying to gank and get kills to look good but at the end of the day, its your GPM that matters because it allows you to buy better items making you a lot stronger.... allowing you a better chance to win.

Discussion How do I invade the enemy jungle?

I’m just starting to play in the jungle, and I’d like to know how to pull off these invades to gain an advantage. Right now, I only manage to do it when the enemy practically hands it to me for free—which, obviously, doesn’t happen every game.

Discussion Champs with good self shields?

I have 80 games on Sion and Nautilus for a combined 62.5% winrate. The other 55 games I've played this season my winrate is 29%. If I get pushed off of these two champs then I'm basically useless. What other champs have good self shielding and can just waddle through fights being unkillable and doing decent damage?

Shen and K'Sante are the first that come to mind. Ambessa has a shield, but it scales with AD not health so I doubt she'd suit my style.

Discussion How do I get the peerless badge?

Hey guys I was wondering what’s the criteria to getting peerless badge on a champion?

I know it’s ranking within the top 10 for 4 times but does it have to be 4 weeks consecutively? And does it have to be only within the same season?

Gameplay I think setts ultimate needs to be fixed in some cases

My team fed the enemy jungler who was a chogoth he was twice the size of the lane. Had huge hp. Had full build. Shields until tomorrow. I launched him and landed right on top of Miss fortune. Didn’t even get her to half up. I can understand it not killing her in some cases, but this seems like bare minimal it should have chuncked her good. Like a normal champion or tank or whatever is fine to not kill her, but I throw a building at an adc and they walk away with 60% left it’s a pointless move. If it’s not going to do the damage it should be doing it should stun or slow opponents. Sett has haymaker so I’m not asking for more damage in a normal bases, but a fed chogoth should be able to do some damage when I ult them onto 4 people that they would at least re consider engaging

Humor Why it is called the minimap

A minute ago there was a question about why the minimap is called what it is called. The OP was wondering why it is called a minimap and where is the actual map? That was a great question and I’m disappointed it got deleted. I took the time to prepare an in depth presentation on how the minimap works, and I would like to share it with you.

The minimap knows where the map is at all times. It knows this because it knows where the map isn't. By subtracting where the map is from where the map isn't, or where the map isn't from where the map is (whichever is greater), the minimap obtains a difference, or deviation. The minimap uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the map from a position where the map is to a position where the map isn't, and arriving at a position where the map wasn't, the map now is. Consequently, the position where the map is, is now the position that the map wasn't, and it follows that the position that the map was, is now the position that the map isn't.

In the event that the position that the minimap is in is not the position that the map wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the map is, and where the minimap wasn’t. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the map must also know where it was.

The minimap works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the map has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where the map should be from where the map wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where the map shouldn't be, and where the map was, the minimap is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

Educational First Scuttle Crab as a Jungler

I’ve noticed a lot of players start at Blue Buff. Because of this, the first Scuttle Crab is often uncontested. You’ll usually be the only one there.

However, sometimes you or the enemy start Red Buff, leading to a collision at the river. Just because you win a 1v1 doesn't automatically mean you should fight for it. Here is how you should actually approach the first Scuttle fight depending on your matchup, lane states, and map awareness.

Scenario 1: Dragon Side Scuttle

If you WIN the 1v1 AND mid/duo lanes are even:

Take the fight and ping for help.

If you LOSE the 1v1 AND your duo lane is losing/even:

Do not force it. Just run to the opposite Scuttle. If your team tries to rotate while their lane is equal or losing, ping them back so they don't throw their lane.

If you LOSE the 1v1 BUT your duo lane is winning:

Ping for help early.

Timing Tip: Don't wait until you are standing at the Scuttle to ping. Ping as you are clearing your last camp before heading to the river. If you don't see your laners moving to support and you spot the enemy jungler, immediately ditch it and head to the opposite side.

Scenario 2: Baron Side Scuttle

The exact same decision-making framework applies here. Look at your top lane and mid lane states, evaluate whether you win the 1v1, and play accordingly.

The Mid Lane Factor

If the mid laners get involved, calculating whether a skirmish is actually winnable gets complicated very quickly.

The Reality: Most players aren't calculating lane states and priority on the fly.

My Recommendation: If the enemy mid laner is dominating, just default to going to the opposite Scuttle. It's safer and saves you from a doomed 2v2.

The Hard Truth About Wild Rift Jungling

Even in high elo, Wild Rift is a very selfish game, and most laners are entirely focused on their own matchups.

Only a small percentage of players even pay attention to the first Scuttle.

An even smaller handful will actually leave lane to help you secure it.

Play smart, read your map, and don't rely on randoms to coin-flip a river fight for a crab. Adaptability and map awareness will win you more games than forcing a bad 1v1.
