🎶 Memory Lane: "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper (1983)

The phone rings in the middle of the night... you KNOW the rest. 💛

One billion views and counting — this anthem turned waiting for the working day to be done into a full-on celebration. Dancing through the streets of NYC in all that glorious 80s color, and it never gets old.

What's your favorite part — the dancing, the fashion, or that iconic laugh?

Hi 80's guys and gals. We would like to introduce to you MTV Monday. (Don't worry. You can still post actors and actresses SFW on Monday's as well) The 80's was all about MTV. Martha Quinn and our favorite songs. Here at r/80smemorylane we are a one stop shop for all things totally rad, totally tubular and totally awesome and that totally includes MTV. Somebody call Nina Blackwood and let her know. Downtown Julie Brown is already saying Wubba Wubba Wubba. ♥♥♥
