Just came in the mail today.
This was my 3rd time seeing Acid Bath and this was the best performance I’ve seen from them. IMO, Graveflower was the performance of the night and the best performance I’ve seen of this song. Hit so hard. Slim Reaper Lightshow is an amazing addition to the live shows and every show gets unique visuals! I feel like they are doing everything right, visuals and posters are on point. They know what they’re doing. I like that every show gets its own artwork, and not just using the same artwork with different backgrounds. That being said, I still think there is some room for improvement to make the experience a little more immersive.
It still felt surreal seeing Acid Bath here, this was my dream venue to attend for a long time, never thought I’d be seeing Acid Bath here. I guess I got to a point where I was convinced it wasn’t going to happen. I’m forever grateful that they got back together. Don’t take this for granted!
All the bands seemed so excited to be there. Too bad Windhand’s setlist got cut short due to a rig malfunction, right in the middle of a solo too, damn. It was cool to see Paul D’Amour with Ministry, the only song I was familiar with was Scare Crow, but I’ve been listening to them more since. Twin Tribes was brand new to me, I listened to a couple albums on the way home, they’re cool.
Where the hell were you guys for Sleep the next day? Denver gets Acid Bath and then Sleep the next day… like what? Crazy timing. And then Chat Pile on Sunday, but I was gone. You guys are some lucky mother fuckers.
