The fluffy ruff. The enormous eyes. The tiny glimpse of teeth.

She looks like someone should be painting her while we stand quietly in the background.

Marysia lives with us at Khvostyky in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. She’s missing a portion of her tail, though you might struggle to notice through all that fur. It certainly hasn’t stopped her enjoying herself.

We keep looking at these photos and thinking how ridiculous it is that this much elegance comes in cat form.

We usually introduce cats here, but today belongs to Nessie.

She’s a rescued dog living at Khvostyky, our rescue cat café in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. She has her own space, separate from the cats. A slightly unexpected resident, but very much part of our little crew.

Nessie is gentle, affectionate, and a little timid. We’re giving her time and hoping she’ll eventually find someone she feels completely comfortable with.

Her mum, Bella, and her sister, Ryzhulia, already have families. Nessie is still waiting for her person.

So here she is, getting a little space on a page usually full of whiskers. We thought you should meet our sweet girl too.
