Been reading through the 35th anniversary manga and I got to this page…and I have no idea who this person is at the bottom last panel? Do they come up later in the volume or is it just a random thing?

I got it as a kid on the early 90s, but confused over the difference between the Fashion Victim/Fruit of the Loom tags I keep seeing to ID exactly which it is. Happy to find it either way! Wore it weekly, shocked it's in the shape it's in.

Hey everyone! I just got Akira volume one and the artwork at the start of the book is incredible. I'd love to turn it into a painting for my wall, but I can't track down this exact version. Most of what I find online is black and white or low quality monochromatic pictures.

Does anyone know where I can find a high quality copy? Thanks in advance!

Asking here as I thought some of you would have some experience regarding stickers. I'm specifically looking to source the stickers at 1:5 scale. Has anyone here tried to source them for themselves or know a good place to look for them?

Also, I'm sure people have asked many times before, but how do you all feel about the alternate brands? I know it's not as iconic, but if you were ordering stickers for a project, would you want them included in the pack or would they just never get used?

Just wanted to share these two awesome minifigures I picked up of Kaneda and Tetsuo. These are my first (and beginning of many more) Akira figures, and I couldn’t be happier.
Can anyone clue me in if anyone’s selling the part four mutated Tetsuo and Kei that can clip onto the Kaneda?

A fun idea project a friend of mine gave me about 5 years ago now. My intentions were to upload to YouTube but it's quickly blocked from doing so.

The idea was just that Radiohead Kid A could go along with Akira (Kid Akira). I had the record on vinyl and a DVD of the film and decided to make it happen. At the time and still, I'm inexperienced with much video editing, so it was a learning experience. I mess around with mixing and recording records and did a bit of EQing to give a slightly darker sound.

The video was recorded using an old Canon digital camera with the video being projected on my wall.. you're actually looking at my wall in the video lol. Intentionally made low quality to give a bootleg feel, as well as adjusting the film to be darker and more red for a film noir kind of effect.

As much as I love the original film, it was difficult trying to put it together and not create pure blasphemy.. I never want to make money from it or disrespect all original and respected creators involved. Just a fun idea that came together for both Akira and Radiohead fans.

The audio isn't getting justice with phone or laptop speakers, so I hope it can be heard on good headphones or speakers! Please enjoy, and please watch the original film first in case you haven't, this can wait!

I finally saw Akira for the first time with the recent re release in September and omg this might be one of my new favorite animated films of all time omg I went in knowing nothing besides the meme and the Akira slide and I came out going holy shit from the animation to the story to the music and the characters I really loved every second of this masterpiece

Sorpresivamente se re estreno durante una semana aqui en mi pais y aunque no fue la nueva version 4k fue genial, sobre todo el arco final, el combate entre ryu y tetsuo se veia increible y ni hablar de la escena de la explosion del final espero qje todos los que sean fans de la peli puedan verla al menos 1 vez cuando puedan 💊🗣 si ven un re estreno en sus paises no se la pierdan
