Keith Self and Evan Hunt were asked similar questions in separate Context Corner interviews.

Self argued that Sharia ranks among his constituents' biggest concerns. Hunt criticized the focus on Sharia and questioned Self's congressional accomplishments.

Both also invoked the First Amendment while taking very different positions on religious freedom and the Sharia-Free America Caucus.

Imagine hearing each candidate respond directly to the other's arguments.

Keith Self's recent comments about Muslims and unrest in France have drawn criticism from Democratic challenger Evan Hunt.

Hunt connected those remarks to the controversy surrounding the McKinney mosque, arguing that Self repeatedly focuses on Muslims when discussing threats to American institutions.

But the follow-up questions also addressed Hunt's own statements.

During a recent interview, he said he wanted to disband Self's Sharia-Free America Caucus. Asked how, Hunt acknowledged that he couldn't dissolve a voluntary congressional organization himself and explained what he would pursue instead.

The story also covers his proposed religious-freedom legislation and comments about Hindu residents in Frisco.
