It appears a BMO game will be unlikely in round 1 with Washington playing Chicago and KC playing Louisville. Unfortunately a round 1 home game is not in our hands. BUT, if the table remains unchanged through Decision Day, another possible route to a home game exists. If the Reign beat Gotham in round 1 and we beat KC, our second round game would be at BMO!! I feel like this is a more likely scenario than either Chicago or Louisville winning next weekend. Whatever happens, this has been an incredible season, and can’t wait to see what we build. KC is now ranked 4th with points. For the playoff to be in LA does that require KC to to tie/loose their next game and angel city to win?

On Friday night, Angel City clinched a playoff spot when Portland beat North Carolina. Last Night, Angel City and fans celebrated with a 2-0 defeat over Bay.

So much to discuss, and so many emotions to feel. BMO was truly rocking last night and it's so much fun to feel the community so activated. Riley Tiernan made an appearance and scored her second goal of the season, and continued to demonstrate why she is THE cutback queen. Our back line was an absolute wall, and Bay just couldn't get through. We are looking and feeling strong, and just a couple of results from a home playoff game. The world is looking Sol Rosa.

Everyone think "Go Spirit (but just for today)" thoughts today, a KC loss or tie puts us in grabbing position for 4th place and a home game. Also feel free to discuss the worst door giveaway yet, tiny stuffed shirts????? Very odd! OH WELL LOVE THIS TEAM!

VOLEMOS!!!!

Sol Rosa fans, life is just good right now! After a sleepy first half we come out, retool, reload from the bench and strike with a solid win against our northern rivals. Let's get into it.

- We continue our unbeaten streak and are again lossless in 9 games now. We're absolutely rolling and besides maybe SD we're the scariest looking team right now. Starters look elite and the bench is more loaded then we initially thought in the summer.

- With our unbeaten streak we're in 4th place for now... We could get some help from the Spirit tomorrow to keep us there. It's nice to see that next week's decision day will, for us, be about playoff standings and not on whether we're in or not.

- With this game depending on next game it gives a chance for some rest for the starters and more playtime for the game changers off the bench. Speaking of the bench they had major contributions this game. Niehues had the assist for GT and Martin had the assist for Tiernan. Big impact! Great to see Tiernan score too. The bench will be big for us going into the playoffs.

- The home crowd looked bigger and noisier then ever. Getting us into the playoffs I hope we'll bring in more big crowds going forward. And hopefully a home playoff game. We'll see what the energy is next week in Carson!

Overall, we're keep pushing. We're just looking good on all levels. Hopefully Gorden and Borges aren't too banged up. Let's enjoy the weekend and root for the Spirit tomorrow. Volemos!

There are only two things I can't stand in this world, people who are intolerant of other peoples cultures...and NoCal...except Roy Shire's Big Time Wrestling out of the Cow Palace during its run...BUT THAT'S IT!

Your Ol' Pal Shlomo checking in here, woke up this morning and climbed up the Mountain Top of Hype. Peered across the abyss that is the Grapevine, Central Valley, Pacheco Pass, and into that Bay that I wouldn't even bother throwing TTUN mother into...and they've got nothin'.

They took our Baby (Fuller), but they also popped a nice squat in the "relegation zone" of the table...despite I know...and yet, they think that because they have nothing to play for, and therefore nothing to lose that it makes them more dangerous...HA! We fart and laugh (not necessarily in that order) in your general direction.

Last night we clinched the playoffs, due to lack of pro-du-du-du-ctivity of NCs star player. Still on the table is the opportunity to pip the teams above us to host a play-off game, so needless to say, we have a lot more to lose than them...we therefore have purpose. All TTUN players are waiting for is their respective tee off times.

Following the November 1 match we will begin posting polls for:
