Hi everyone
I’m going to have to sell one of my Cafe Carlyle 10/29 tickets. I originally planned on going with my wife but she can’t make it. The reservation is at 7:30pm on Thursday. I’m still definitely going so I would meet you there to go in together. From there. Since it’s general admission seating, idk how the seating would work when we got there. If you don’t want to sit together, maybe they can seat two single seats in different locations, but I’m also happy to sit together. I gotta sell it for what I bought it for (which was nearly $300). There is also a $95/guest dining requirement.
DM me!

I love the BBC Proms record and listen to it at least once a week but what I really wanted is a live record with the full band from the last tour. Can't stop listening to the YouTube videos from the ABS shows. Best band ever ❤️. What do you think?

I managed to get one bar seat but would love it if I could find another so my wife and I can go together. Does anyone have one available? Thanks!

I was lucky enough to get a single ticket for the show last night at Cliff Bell’s. Annie Clark stripped down her songs to simply piano (by the amazing Rachel Eckroth) and guitar and it was just as powerful as if she were accompanied by a full band. The crowd started off with rapt attention and reserved manners befitting the cozy jazz club, but a few songs in, Annie’s strength of personality and wit loosened up the patrons and we finger snapped, clapped and sang along. Annie walked into the crowd several times and bantered with the audience frequently. We were so appreciative to be in that room and it showed in the showers of applause all night. I hope she adds more dates to this stripped down tour.

Does anyone know who designed the poster for the Live With Orchestra tour this year? I’m trying to add it to Expressobeans and want to make sure it’s properly attributed.
I also do an annual recap of the posters for all of my shows I go to at the end of the year, and I like to tag the artists whenever possible.

Please, I hope I’m not misunderstood—I think every one of Annie’s records is excellent, and the last thing I’d want is for her to rush a release or anything like that.
That said, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on when she might drop a new album. It doesn’t seem far-fetched to think she might be entering a new phase now that her orchestral tour has wrapped up—especially since her current live performances are fewer and more low-key.
I could see her releasing something by 2028, but do you think there’s a chance for 2027? I’m also really intrigued by what it might sound like; she’s always evolving—could she incorporate some classical elements, drawing inspiration from that tour? Something along the lines of Actor, but nearly 20 years later, would be interesting. During the All Born Screaming tour, she talked quite a bit about her jazz influences, so maybe there’ll be some of that, too. And considering her DJ sets over the last few years—honestly, she could head in literally any musical direction! Haha.

This is a total shot in the dark, but I'm hunting for information about an old St. Vincent poster that I had in my dorm room around 2009–2012.
The poster was illustrated and featured a stylized bust portrait of her wearing a top hat atop her curly hair. My memory is fuzzy, but I think the background was a rusty orange color and there was also a tiger jumping through a hoop above her head.
I can't find any photos and I don't remember what happened to my poster, but hoping someone else remembers it and can share the artist's name or a picture or something. Thanks!
edit: Thanks to u/sonofarnold, I discovered the poster was for Austin City Limits in 2009 and illustrated by Farley Bookout. You can see her work here: http://www.farleybookout.com/

We can’t make the show tonight at Cliffs Bell. If you’d like to go, DM me. Just looking for face value.

found a few shots I took from her leap day 2008 concert at Bowery ballroom in NYC. these concerts were such an incredible showcase of her virtuosic abilities as a live musician.

Got to meet her after tonight’s show, she’s the sweetest and most patient person ever, simply the best, just wanted to share this lovely moment.

I am a concert photographer and mainly shoot rock and metal gigs. Sometimes people ask what is my favourite band/artist and what does it sound like. Might sound bonkers at first but makes total sense if you think about it (massive Rush fan here as well btw).
