Can I become an art professor?
I (24F) have a bachelors in studio art and it's been a long time goal of mine to become a professor. I'm looking to get my masters, but I know you also need a lot of experience like getting your work in galleries and getting published etc. I guess what I'm asking is, what's a realistic road map? I'm really worried about financially struggling. I currently work a full time job in something that's not related to art at all to have an actual income lol. I do art on the side and sometimes do commissions, but let's say I go for my masters and quit my job. After graduating, what would be the best course of action? I'm also aware that the field is really competitive, but just any general advice would be appreciated.
