Love the look of this card. Trying to find a $, barely any /5 autos sold this year (2026 cards). There are a lot of 2024 /5 autos sold, but unsure if that's a fair comparison. Any advice?

About a week ago or so I pulled a 2026 Tatsuya Imagine All Aces from a hanger. Was super stoked but noticed that it had factory damage along the bottom border. While I wasn't super sure if I wanted to actually try to exchange it, I submitted a defect claim just to leave the option open.

Well, Topps today accepted the claim, so now I have a decision: exchange or don't exchange?

Do you all have any experience doing so? How often do they give you the same card back (especially this short of a print)? When they exchange for something different, how is the "value" calculated? Do they say "ah yes, an international player All Aces replacement? How about... a /25 Hao-Yu Lee auto?

Just trying to decide my next steps and figured I'd poll the audience.

The quality on the cards is way better than anything else this year.

I was responding to a different post about someone who found an auto card with a gold back, and remembered that in one of the couple of Costco boxes I bought this summer to kill time while getting a tire change, I found a gold card as well.

Hadn’t bought cards in about 45 years, so just assumed that it was just a different version of a base card, so threw it into a sleeve and top loader and forgot about it in a shoebox, because I’m only interested in vintage cards from the 40’s thru 60’s for my personal collection.

I was told in the other thread that it’s something called a “super short print” - whatever the heck that means.

Maybe he's trying to catch some Cy Young Award votes? It doesn't even say the stereotypical "enjoys hunting and fishing" in the blurb.

I feel like I’ve been getting lowballs for this. What would you say this is worth and if you think it’s best to hold onto?

Not a big deal either way but happen to notice one on right is a darker grey border and one on the left is lighter. What am I looking at?

A few questions about 1st Bowman vs. RC cards

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to the baseball card hobby and have a few questions about rookie cards. There's something about baseball cards that I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

I always thought 1st Bowman cards were basically a player's first rookie cards. But I've noticed that some cards in the same Bowman set have the "1st" logo, while others have the "RC" logo.

- Which one is considered the actual rookie card in this case? Is it the 1st Bowman or the Bowman RC? Or do they serve different purposes?

- I've also come across Bowman cards of players that don't have either the "1st" or "RC" logo, but were released before their Topps rookie cards. How does that work?

- Are there technically separate rookie cards for the Minor Leagues and the MLB, or am I missing something here?

I'm still learning how all of this works, so I'd appreciate any explanations. Thanks in advance! ⚾
