I own Boards and a Boutique, a board game café in South Haven. We’re running our first Catan tournament on Thursday, Nov 5: check-in 5:30, play at 6, done around 9:15. Four tables of four, table winners play a final; base game, standard rules. $18 includes a drink and a snack. Top 3 get custom 3D-printed medals and a free pass to a future event; 1st also gets a T-shirt or $25 store credit. Ages 10+. Happy to answer questions here.

Hello my wife and I are coming to this area for vacation this weekend is there a good taxi service that will take us to and from our hotel when needed, we plan on going to the bar probably both nights and obviously we don’t plan on driving back afterwards

I have family members coming onto town who love to mountain bike. Looking to bring them mountain biking around St Joes.

Any idea if there are shops that rent mountain bikes? Anywhere between Grand Rapids and St Joes would be ideal

on the Y-axis (US-31), we have a freeway to the south, and an incomplete freeway that is expected to be complete in the future to the north

and on the X-axis (Napier Avenue), we got what is the temporary US-31 west of the interchange, and to the east, we got a county-maintained roadway that turns into a state highway at the county line. So in essence, M-152 has a gap of "highway number zone" going toward US-31.

To summarize, the US-31 freeway has an incomplete segment that isn't finished that cars can't drive to yet, but Napier Avenue continues to the east, but simply has no highway number east of the interchange.

is this wild or what?

We're doing a lot more daily walks. The neighborhood walk has started to get a bit boring. Are the trails at Sarett still open? How busy are they during weekdays?

So I just moved here last week, I am from the area (baroda) so I am relatively familiar with the big stuff. Any cool things I may not know about though?

I went to go out earlier and pipestone and m 139 and stuff perfectly fine, but down on side streets, and where I live. No plow at all, I had to push my car to get it unstuck but yet all these other roads are clear. I know they need to plow those first, but all day didn’t see one plow

Hello! My partner and I recently moved in and we were wondering if there's anything going on in the area today to celebrate Halloween. We would go trick or treating, but we forgot to get costumes and we have no kids. SO it would be weird.

Thanks!

I understand that Dowagiac is a bit aways from Benton Harbor but I didnt see a closer sub to post in. If its not allowed mods please remove. To start- I grew up in the area and left at age 11 but am very fortunate enough to have saved enough to come visit for the first time in 13 years. I already know Im going to be flooded with memories from home but need some help with ideas to entertain my kiddo in between visiting family. Like first question- Is there a good reliable car rental place that wont screw me up the ass? What in the area would you recommend for a single mom with a 4yo kiddo? Would you happen to know if they offer to rent a car seat? Any good local eats around about the area that you would wholeheartedly recommend? (I have it in mind to hike it to the Main Street Ice Cream shop regardless of anything else) What kind of cell service works up there? At all?

Thank you so much for your time!!!! CHEERS!

I have a bunch of out of town guests coming in this weekend, and finding hotels has been really tough. What is soaking up all the rooms? There's no ND football, which was my first thought. I see from a previous post that this is common this summer, without anything like Venetian driving it.

Me and a buddy are looking to join or create a D&D or Pathfinder gaming group. We're looking to be players with someone else playing DM. The other guy is pretty experienced and has run some campaigns as a DM and I'm fairly new but have some experience. We're actually in Berrien Springs but willing to do a little driving, or you're welcome to come here, so if you're in the area PM me and let's set something up. If you don't have a DM but want to be in a group you can join us in our search! You can consider this a permanent looking because I'll update it if we find a group.
