When is 1 BTC not equal to 1 BTC?
When being entered, read, or considered in a balance sheet or evaluated in a legally binding contract or statement of worth, for starters.

I mean, doesn't everyone expect to be rich after dumping in your rent money over two full years? (Not part years, FULL years!)

As we know people who argue on behalf of any cryptoasset, particularly Bitcoin, are constantly changing. As one narrative runs out of steam in the public sphere they come back with a new variation and keep the scam going. The most recent variations I've seen:
1. "Bitcoin is embedded in the financial system"
The argument centers around the fact that Bitcoin ETFs exist, and large asset managers, banks and public companies hold or offer exposure to it (for a fee), and even banks such as JP Morgan 'write articles about it's value'. Also, 'many lenders offer bitcoin backed loans', and different payment processors are rolling out bitcoin payment options.
2. "Bitcoin is an end to debt slavery" or "There is a hidden stealth tax that Bitcoin eliminates:
This one is something like, 'governments and central banks create money through debt and steadily print more of it, which quietly erodes the value of wages and savings like a hidden tax and pushes ordinary people into borrowing just to keep up. Bitcoin's fixed 21 million supply lets people save in money that can't be debased, so they can opt out of that cycle.
The first point is an easy eye roll for anyone who works in the financial system (granted they don't have dollar signs in their eyes looking at crypto bros and seeing a chance to collect an ultra-easy advisory fee).
The second one is obviously not new, but I've seen it being resurrected more often recently despite the fact that after 18 years of Bitcoin it still hasn't delivered the promised release from debt slavery to those suffering under debt enslavement.
From what I've seen recently in this sub, someone will post something hilarious about bitcoin bros and then inevitably one of them will show up and start arguing something but they run away as soon as the going gets tough.
So I'm just posting this now to entice people to come argue with me, not to hear hilarious comments from others in this sub. I'll cross post to other subs so long as I'm not banned.

When AI goes bust, we buy a giga datacenter for pennies and mine empty blocks and orphan blocks by making new branches.
All the hashing belongs to us.

I have a feeling Bitcoin and crypto will be massively pumped before US midterms to manipulate and secure the Bro vote. Then they'll come here and gloat how we're all idiots for missing out. Almost like this has happened before? 🤔
