Many kids like media that skew older because it makes them feel cooler. Many of them are into anime, TADC, and FNAF despite them technically not being for children because they they know when they're being talked to. American animation, while the film side has loosened up a little with the likes of Spider-Verse, Forgotten Island, and now Wildwood, the TV side has gotten sanitized as the few shows they're producing don't do anything to challenge viewers.

Why must we keep losing great people? We lost Tom Kane months ago (for voices like Yoda and Professor Utonium) then Peter Cullen last month (voice of Optimus Prime & Eeyore) And now we lost Eric Bauza (Bugs Bunny & others)

Why must we have to loose these legends so soon? They were kind people and they did amazing jobs with the characters they played and losing them breaks my heart

I hope they have a spot in heaven right now and they are in peace and I will always bless them 🙏

DOT FROM ANIMANIACS

This film has the magic which might turn it into a cult classic. The craftsmanship is unparalleled, the story is engaging, the jokes punch, and the low notes pressed the theatre to silence. It’s raw and human and truly worth the time.

It was only after I saw it that I learned it’s a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes box office flop. Nobody seems to know how to advertise a movie made to make you feel something that doesn’t fit neatly into one bucket so the marketing has only hit a small population.

With animation suffering as a whole, for us to have this feels like a gift. It’s almost like they knew it was going to bomb and went fuck it, we need this, animation needs this, kids deserve this, and made it for us anyway. I really hope this outcome doesn’t bring Laika to a screaming halt.

I'm drawing Puss In Boots 15th Anniversary now. In two days, Puss In Boots has been celebrated 15th Anniversary. Neat, huh?

Yesterday, I left a comment on a post about Eric Bauza doubting the news of his passing. Like many people when shocking news first breaks online, I thought it was a cruel prank or an account hack. I have since deleted that comment. Now that his family and major news outlets have confirmed this heartbreaking loss, as a cartoon enthusiast, I'm so saddened.

It is incredibly bewildering to read and process that someone so young and talented passed away. Eric has brought so much joy, laughter, and life to so many new and iconic characters that shaped this generation and modern animation entertainment.

This post is to express apology for my initial reaction, and more importantly, to honour his memory. Rest in peace, Eric Bauza. Thank you for the voices and memories.

For those who don't keep up with foreign films this is huge, not only has it reached global box office top 10 this week alongside Wildwood and Clayface, but it has reached the 2nd highest opening weekend in not just animated Mexican movies, but out of any Mexican movie EVER. This as well as it making 5x TIMES over its budget (1.1M) within just one week is insane.
