Chase IT please consider Authenticator only option

Dear Chase Information Technology.

I'm sure you all are very busy dealing with your own security issues and AI these days. However, if you could help us all out and consider an option that allows us to choose Authenticator only for signing into our Personal accounts, that would be great. I know you have your RSA for business accounts, but with AI now, it will not be long before it breaks the SMS two-factor authentication we use to secure our personal money. Can we get this on the storyboard sooner rather than later, please?

received a letter in the mail to fill out a form ss 89 for chase?

I received a letter in the mail from chase saying to fill out the ss 89 or else my credit card will be cancelled. My immediate thought was is this a scam but when it said to mail it bakc to chase's official location (po box texas) i knew it wasnt a scam. I also searched ss 89 chase on google and reddit and its common however most people receive it after applying for a credit card or mortgage. However i Have not applied for any of these. Is my account compromised? what should i do?

Almost Missed My SUB Deadline

On Oct 24th Saturday, I had $625 left to spend to get my sign up bonus for the CSP. My tracker’s deadline was Oct 25th. After some panic buying, anxiety, and extreme amount of googling, I now have 100k points pending. I make this data point for anyone else who may be sweating their ass off in this same situation.

Before anyone says I shouldn’t own this card if I couldn’t meet the SUB requirements organically, please know that I had a 3k school bill I was fully planning on paying with my CSP but procrastinated on paying until the last minute. (Critiques of my irresponsibility though I am aware im fully subjected to)

Morning of the 24th, I immediately payed the bill. Then I remembered transactions take time to post. Especially on weekends. Especially when they’re through academic institutions. So I went through my transaction history and found merchants that posted within one day and on a weekend (Amazon and CVS). So with just enough remaining credit I panic bought $625 worth of shit from both places.

Entirety of Saturday no changes. Just pending transactions. I think I’m doomed.

Sunday morning still no changes. Sunday evening! 100k points pending! All my transactions were still pending though so I was scared it might be rescinded.

By Monday evening the points were still pending, the tracker disappeared on the mobile app, and my transactions were displayed as posted on Sunday the 25th despite not saying that at all the day before. If I opened the benefits and rewards tab on desktop, the 100k points were rewarded with my initial transaction of 3k. So I can safely assume that returning my panic purchases from Amazon and CVS will not rescind my points. However I’m still gonna wait for the points to actually post with my next statement just in case the returns look like sketchy behavior.

Hope this helps anyone who might be worried!

Chase Website does not work!

I am used to using the Chase online website through my laptop but for the past 2 months, I have been unable to login in through the web browser and can only access my account through the app. Every time I try, it asks for a code after calling but will not move forward and states no code available for this number/account when I hit next or click I have a code. It is annoying and the Chase reps do not seem to have any idea as to why this is an issue. Also seems like a nuisance if I have to call every time I need to login in.
Looking to see if anyone else has faced this issue and what they may have done.

Money stolen from our Chase account, claim denied, has anyone successfully gotten help?

My fiancé and I are looking for advice after unauthorized activity on our Chase checking account.

Our original debit card never arrived. We learned from USPS that mailboxes in our area had been broken into. We removed all money from the said account and was going to have it close in the 60 days since no money was in it.

Then there were unauthorized ATM withdrawals and an attempted check deposit involving our account. We reported the activity immediately. Chase initially credited some money back, but later denied our claims. We even got a text message saying fraud was happening and we responded back saying yes it is fraud.

The explanation we were given was that a debit card and PIN were used. But we never received or activated the original card, and we never created a PIN for it. That is the part we keep trying to get someone to investigate and explain. We have asked for security footage from the ATM. We have contacted everyone we can get ahold of a Chase. Everyone is shutting us down.

We’ve called Chase, visited branches, and filed a government complaint, but we still haven’t recovered our money. We also provided a location screenshot showing we were somewhere else when the activity occurred.

This was money we were saving for our future wedding, and it’s incredibly frustrating to keep asking for help without getting a resolution. We now are out of luck for a wedding fund.

We talked to someone else again and they said it’s been over 90 days and they have deleted all information connected to the account. Even though we had open fraud claims on the account.

Has anyone successfully appealed a similar Chase denial, especially involving a debit card that never arrived? What helped get your case reviewed properly? We’d appreciate recommendations for a consumer advocate, an attorney who handles banking disputes, or an escalation contact who could help.

Thank you to anyone who can share firsthand experience or point us toward a useful next step.

Basically what the title says I applied for the chase freedom flex card and don’t see the spend 500 get 250 back. When I applied for the freedom unlimited card it was in my account and I could track it but this one I can’t.

Chase pre approval application went straight to submission

Application was submitted without it even telling me if I will get approved or not.

This is for the CSP. I had it back in 2021, so I wanted to see if would be eligible for the SUB again.

Went straight to submission and next prompt said I will be notified via email in 7-10 days if I will be accepted or not? wtf

Universal Banker To Relationship Banker at Chase

I completed an interview at Chase with a recruiter at 10am on Friday and with the branch manager same day at 2pm.
She called me on Wednesday to schedule an interview. I think the interview went well and it felt like a natural convo.
I focused on my sales goals at Citi (my current employer) and customer service.
For the people who have been extended job offers. What’s was the timeline after the interview
Thanks for the responses

Should I take the offer?

I am building up my credit back, with 5 more closed accounts left and at a 640 and still going. I am trying to build my credit up to apply for the sapphire or unlimited in about 6 months. Just payed off my car Ioan, so I am assuming my credit will take a hit so after speaking to a chase rep they said that if I apply with them they could offer me the Chase slate edge while I am on my credit journey. I am trying to avoid inquiries and thought to wait but it’s going slower than I expected. Should I just take the offer and apply in 6 months for better cards or should I get my profile in best shape and then apply?

Avoid balance transfers right now. Trapped in a $6.5k loop between Chase & Discover, and customer service was an absolute nightmare.

Just wanted to post a warning for anyone thinking about doing a balance transfer between Chase and Discover right now. I just went through absolute hell trying to move exactly $6,555.23 and both banks completely failed me.

The nightmare breakdown:

  • The Glitch: Chase initiated the transfer, but it failed/bounced in the electronic backend. Instead of fixing the routing, Chase just "refunded" the money into my Chase account with zero instructions to forward it to Discover.
  • The Chase Response: I escalated this twice. The last Chase supervisor gave me pure attitude and told me their "solution" was to mail me a physical paper check for $6.5k and told me to manually mail it to Discover myself. Because apparently, playing mail-courier for an electronic banking error is a consumer's job?
  • The Discover Response: Discover never got the money, so their automated system started slapping me with late fees and interest. When I called Discover to explain the trapped transfer and ask for a temporary billing dispute hold, they straight up told me "no" and were incredibly rude.

How it ended:
I got so completely fed up with the finger-pointing and hostility that I just paid off the $6.5k out of pocket to protect my credit score and stop the bleeding.

I have officially hit BOTH Chase and Discover with separate CFPB complaints. Chase’s regulatory team is going to have to explain to the feds why a supervisor tried to force a customer to mail a $6.5k paper check to fix a corporate ACH glitch, and Discover is going to have to explain why they aggressively penalized a consumer over a verified banking loop.

Never doing a balance transfer again. If you value your sanity, double-check everything or avoid it entirely because frontline customer service at both of these places has no idea how to handle backend electronic errors.

Where to see "MyBonus" After Activating?

Once you activate a "MyBonus" at https://www.chase.com/mybonus, where do they show up in your account to verify what the offer was? I put my cards in the portal, and only one card said "your offer is activated". It didn't show any details, I didn't receive any emails, and I'm not seeing anything in the account. The other cards had no offers.

When I try to activate it again, it says you are already enrolled but no details on what the offer is.

I talked with customer service and they said they are not seeing anything on my account. Any ideas/answers?

Or does anyone know what the Q4 2026 offer for the amazon prime chase card is that is activated via the bonus and can share here?

Mobile app ID verification

Someone please help me; I am
Losing my mind!!! Over the past couple of days I would log into my Chase bank mobile app, but around 4 days ago it wouldn't use my Face ID and required me to type in my password again and have a code sent to my phone for verification! On someone else's login, they told me it is happening to them too, but for them it is requesting a picture of a physical ID and partial debit card information. After I log in and make sure the Face ID is on, the login glitch won't happen again for a couple of hours, but it always comes back. What do I do?

Just a little thing: I noticed when I open the app, a message box comes up that is empty and has an "OKAY" button on the bottom for me to click, and when I do that, it sends me to the password page.

Did I just get a scam call?

Got called everyday this week from what my caller id says is chase (800)555-0430. I finally answered rn to let them know that I will pay the overdraft Monday. Well it was an Indian accent and with me being HOH I couldn’t make out a word except him saying my name and last couple numbers of my account. I kept telling him I couldn’t understand him and I’m HOH so I need to read lips or email. I didn’t confirm anything and only said if this is about my overdraft I’ll deposit enough to make it positive this week, I don’t want it to close. Then he kind of hesitated and asked something about how much but I said I’ll deposit whatever I owe and turned off the overdraft protection already so I can’t overdraft again. Then I made out something about paying a larger amount but I couldn’t really make out the rest so I said I’m sorry I can’t understand you can you email me or open the chat in the app? He sighed and the call disconnected. Was this a scam and did I mess up??

BS password requirements

You can’t use two letters or numbers in a row when you create a password? Awesome. Let me create a specific password for this one app that i’ll forget because i only use it once in a rare moon when i get logged out randomly.

This is the only rime ive seen this password rule and it sucks.

Still can’t add my card to Paze

I’ve been trying to add my CSR to Paze since September 10th and I still get the same error in red text saying “we’re having trouble linking your card right now. Try again later.” I’m at a dead end on what I can do, as I have seemingly tried everything I can think of.

I have tried calling Chase customer support multiple times to no avail. They informed me that there is an error with my name in Paze not matching what Chase has. However Chase confirmed my name to be correct and there is nothing they can do on their end. I did get them to escalate my issue to a “researcher” in their tech support department, but haven’t received an update in weeks when I call.

Paze has no direct customer service so I can’t ask them. I tried looking up my account on the Paze website, but I keep getting “No wallet found.” Which is not surprising because I’ve never heard of Paze prior to getting my CSR. I’ve tried doing the opt out trick and that had no effect.

I even reached out to Early Warning Service, the parent company of Paze, because they also run Zelle (which I have) and they confirmed my info to be correct as well, but couldn’t comment on the Paze side of things as that’s an “entirely different team” apparently, and one that I cannot speak with as a customer.

I really feel like I’m getting the run around because either nobody knows how to fix this, or simply doesn’t care. Honestly, I’m about to just give up on Paze, but I have two high priced purchases I’ve been putting off because i really want to take advantage of the 10x points multiplier.

Open to any recommendations or advice you all have.

Point pooling with personal and biz cards with spouse

My wife has a chase Ink card that supports transfer to mileage partners, I do not. It's a business card. I heard we can pool our points together. If we do that, can I think transfer to my United Mileage plus account?

Chase’s in app credit card sign up bonus tracker isn’t accounting for refunds- will they honor it if it says I meet the MSR even if I didn’t after you subtract refunds?

Hey guys,

My Chase app shows that I’ve spent just about $7800 (just a bit shy of the $8000 minimum spend requirement to get the sign up bonus for this card).

However, I’ve had to refund some purchases (some pretty large). When I add up my total purchases I’m getting $6305- a good bit short of the $8000 requirement.

Why is Chase showing my spend in the bonus tracker as so much higher than it is? Is it deliberate so that I undershoot my spending? Or will they honor it if their in app tracker said I was spending the required amount?

Issue with chase bank / Zelle

So I opened up an account 2 weeks ago and last week I changed my pay to this bank, and I sent $500 to my mom ( Zelle ) it went through no issues. Yesterday I also sent money from my org bank to chase and it worked, later that day I sent $50 to my original to chase and it said unsuccessful.

Later that night I wanted to see if Zelle is gonna work because I get paid today so I sent a $1 to my other account, it logged me out and said my account is locked for suspicious activity. I called had someone unblock it. This morning I tried sending $1000 to my mom and it did it again.

When I call chase they did unblock it but can’t seem to tell me why this keeps happening? Do you think if I wait like a week it will work? I don’t understand how it was done last week and literally earlier yesterday then it just stopped

Anyone with experience like this what did you do? Did it eventually let you send Zelle or no?
