Question How can we get more people and governments (or parts of governments ) to decrease their environmental impact ?
How can we properly educate and get people to take action and change and same goes for governments or government agencies like councils etc .
Like obvs we can educate via social media , follow more environmental accounts to make them more popular but that isn’t enough we need education done faster , more thorough , we need more people changing what they do and more people pushing governments and government departments to change.
Like I don’t directly say what to do , but I am part of a youth group(I’m a teenager ) that writes a section for our local newspaper and in my articles I try put certain environmental parts in , like my last article was about the local election for my county councillor and I asked each of them environmental questions (only two answered but better than none ) , then my one I’m writing right now is about the fossil fuel industry asking someone who works in the industry and someone who has a grass roots organisation for trying to get more solar panels on more houses . I get given options on what stories to do and try pick the ones which I can try do environmental articles on or link it to an extent

Question Ethical Banking (UK based)
Hi all, was listening to the recent Build a Better Future podcast with Michael Mezz interviewing Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and she brought up a really interesting point that I wonder if people overlook.
Banks.
They function by using money given to them by us and loan that money out to projects and pay you back some interest as an incentive to remain with them essentially.
I'd never thought about it before and have been using Monzo for probably a decade or so now and I can't lie it's pretty good.
But for the effort of spending a few hours or even a day moving accounts to something significantly more environmentally beneficial then I'd love to.
Ideally though I want to retain as much of the "modern" functionality of slick online banking.
Is there such a thing?
Any recommendations you have would be greatly recieved.
