Hey everyone!

I'm a 41-year-old gay guy living in Columbia, MD, and I'm looking for someone interested in being the captain (front rider) on my tandem bicycle. I'm blind, so while I can pedal just fine, letting me steer would probably make for a rather exciting ride. 😂

I recently got a Co-Motion Cappuccino tandem, and I'd really love to find someone to get out and enjoy it with. You don't need to own a bike since I've already got that covered!

Ideally, I'd love to find another guy around my age or younger (20s, 30s, or early 40s) who enjoys cycling, being outdoors, and having good conversations. I'm pretty social, love to laugh, and would enjoy finding someone I could ride with regularly, whether that's casual rides around Columbia or eventually some longer rides.

You don't need tandem experience, although being a reasonably confident cyclist is important. We can figure out the tandem-specific stuff together.

I'm not looking for someone to volunteer their time out of sympathy. I'm looking for a genuine cycling buddy, someone who enjoys the experience as much as I do. If we become good friends along the way, even better!

And yes, I'll actually do my share of the pedaling! 😂

I have noticed that at the chipotle there are 6 parking spaces that are marked yet people keep parking right next to those spots. To be clear that is not a parking spot, it is part of the driving lane. It is illegal to park there, and just want to let everyone know so y’all don’t get a parking ticket. Do with this as you all will.

Not really sure where to start on this journey! We are expecting our first in a couple of months. Looking for either a commercial or in-home program for infants. Budget is $2000 a month give or take. Looking for something that prioritizes low staff to child ratio that is safe and clean, well trained and CPR certified staff. Would be interested in nanny share if that could work out financially. Both me and my husband work 4 days a week, so we would need 3-4 days of care covered per week. As baby grows, it would also be an added bonus to incorporate Spanish into the curriculum. Any help is appreciated!

Does anyone know when they will open? Haven't been this excited for an opening since Uniqlo and Chase opened in this area. I'm hoping we have more shops/food places open in the future. I would love to see Paris Baguette in this area. Since they opened one in Annapolis, maybe there is hope.

Anyone know why the mutt mitt stock at the two dispensers are frequently empty? For the past couple years, they were only empty every few weeks. Lately, they're empty every few days. I passed the one on the south side this morning around 7:30 am and it was packed. Passing it again this afternoon at 2:00, and it was empty. I’m looking for stylists in or near Columbia who know how to cut curly hair. I’ve been cutting my hair myself and am looking for someone who can possibly do a shag or curly layers.

There’s a small spot about an inch big on my car interior thats damaged, I think it’s faux leather. There’s no hole, it’s just a spot where the color and texture don’t match the rest. Is anyone near the Owen Brown/ Cedar Lane area experiencing issues with Internet? Me and two of my neighbors have been having Internet outages for the past week and according to our Internet providers, there’s no history of any issues on their end, but the fact that three of us have different routers, but the same issue at the same time makes me believe it’s a provider issue and I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing the same problem. Even my computer that’s hardwired into my router is having issues so I know it’s not just a Wi-Fi issue it seems to be the Internet in itself. I have also been without Internet for the past 12 hours.
