You are all amazing, let’s have this Monday start a wonderful week! 🩵

The last few weeks have been rough. All the rain wrecked our roof, Then I had four teeth pulled (dental emergency), and now my son needs his wisdom teeth out too, and we can't push it off. Between all of it, I am tapped out and need some food/ a few essentials to get us to mid November 🥴 I was so close to making it all the way to 180 without asking for anyone's help, but here we are.
Thanks for anything I really appreciate it! The incense aren’t necessary but for Dia De los muertos thanks

Hi there, I’m a mom of two soon to be three beautiful babies and just moved from one province (a city) to another province (population of maybe 5000) into a beautiful new home with my family. We currently have big plumbing problems, a lot of absolutely can’t avoid renovations and of course I’m about to pop. All our money has been going into renovations so we can live here comfortably, bottled water and snacks for my kiddos, and prep for the new baby. I’ve got no family out here and desperately need postpartum care products for after giving birth to my son. Normally i wouldn’t be asking like this but it’s been so hard being out here with no family, working on a house super stupid pregnant and trying to chase after my little ones. I’m scared i won’t have the proper aftercare products and will end up with another infection like after my daughter. Anything is appreciated even well wishes and advice. I’ve reached out to churches, organizations for women in my town and so far I’ve had no luck. But anyways thank you for reading this, have a wonderful day ❤️

Hello everyone!

I'm reaching out with very sad news that u/beachbabe77 has had her account compromised

If you've been around you have likely seen beach babe once or twice. She's a pillar of the Reddit donations community as a whole and it's very sad to see that some unfeeling ghoul would do this to her.

If beach babe reaches out, please stay safe. It's not her.

I hope everyone has had a great Friday and gets plenty of time to unwind this weekend!

Thanks for being here :)

I have $8 to my name, just enough gas to make it to the gas station, and about a week away from needing diapers. (I get Target Up & Up otherwise I would’ve added these to the list) If anyone would be willing to help fill in the gaps on some necessities and snacks for my toddler it would be so so greatly appreciated. I’d be happy to answer any questions if anyone has them. Thank you

Hello, Community Donations!

Since things have been slow, we haven’t had a need for a wishlist spotlight. But no surprise to anyone, the recent wishlists we have had up got bought from pretty quickly! Y’all are amazing. There’s only two incomplete wishlists right now and both have about 3 items on them.

Can’t stress enough how appreciated you all are. As someone who has been blessed from a wishlist in the past, I know just how much your acts of kindness mean to the person in need of some help. As this week comes to a close, I hope you all finish strong and go into a relaxing and stress free weekend.

As always, thanks for being here!

Hello. I was recently discharged from the hospital and have been working with my home physical therapists, my home nurse, and my primary care physician. Everyone is letting me know that my insurance (Meridian Medicaid) will not cover a walker basket. My primary care provider told me at our most recent visit that it was denied through insurance.

I have set up an Amazon Wishlist with the walker basket here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1PTR0TPWC2VBJ?ref_=wl_share

The item total is $21.72 with tax.

Drive is the brand of my walker, and this basket is made directly by Drive to fit it. It’s easy to remove, it doesn’t screw in like some of the other ones I’ve seen.

I need it for inside my home so I can transport items safely and maintain some independence.

I have experienced severe weight loss over the past 3 months (34.2 lbs) and was recently hospitalized for 9 days with severe malnutrition and risk of refeeding syndrome due to my gastroparesis. Having a way to carry things room to room while using my walker would help immensely.

Thank you.

I work as an independent contractor for instacart and have to pump in between doing orders to keep my girl fed on breastmilk. I’ve been playing catch up on bills since having my sweet baby 3 month ago and unfortunately don’t have the extra funds to replace my pump parts right now. I pump multiple times a day and it is recommended that I pump parts are replaced every month with how often I pump. I’ve stretched my last set of parts 6 weeks and they are starting to give out and my supply is starting to be affected.

I added the parts I need for my home pump the spectra, as well as parts needed for my wearable pump I use while I’m out and about working. Additionally I added cleaning brushes as the one I have is falling apart from 3 months of use 🤦🏻‍♀️😅.

Added some snacks and drinks for myself to hopefully help increase my supply back to what it was as well.

Thank you for consideration. It is beyond greatly appreciated 🫶🏻

Hi me again. Hope all is well with everyone! In a small bind until my next check due to having to buy a refrigerator after ours went out(luckily we have a deep freezer and meats weren’t ruined). Truly hate having to go this route, but anything is appreciated. Thank you so much in advance!

Y’all may have noticed things have been a little slow and not many posts going up. Just popping in to say, we’re still here! There just hasn’t been anything in the queue that we can approve for the board.
We may be in a slow season here on the sub, but we are still running. And as always, we are thankful for you guys for being along with us for the ride!

How is everyone spending their weekend? What’s something you’re looking forward to in the coming months?
I’m personally excited for fall and more importantly…. Football season!

Anywho, happy Saturday and thanks for your endless kindness, patience, and just being here. 🩵

Hey All! Trying to bring some happiness back into this community! I have enough points for one McDonald’s meal! CANADIANS ONLY (the points do not transfer out of country I’ve tried)! Please tell me about your funniest Halloween costume because spooky season is my favourite season!

there’s a litter of kittens that were born under our neighbors house. The momma has been missing for a couple days so our neighbor called us and asked if we could take them in and if not they would go to the shelter. Our shelters are overfull and told us they would have to put them down especially cause they’re covered in fleas and feral. I’ve managed to grab three of them out from under the house but there’s still three more that were going to try to grab once my husband is off work. I’m just requesting some help with some food and necessities to help keep these babies alive. They’re only 3-4 weeks old right now and need all the help they can get 💔 happy to share pics if needed!! thank you everyone 💕

Hello everyone! I hope you're having an amazing weekend ❤️ I'm making a request post as my nutritionist/dietician and I have been working very hard to expand my extremely limited diet (due to medical conditions) in any way possible.

Unfortunately but also fortunately lol she has given me such a large list of items she wants me to trial that I just can't afford to keep purchasing them all. I absolutely want to keep making this progress towards helping my body and expanding my diet however I can, which is why I'm reaching out in the hopes I can get some help fulfilling some of the items she has requested I trial. I chose a handful of the ones that I think will be the most successful and tried to find the least expensive and safe version that I could. The silicone cooker is also so I can safely cook things in the microwave to test more things at home as well! I unfortunately am very restricted to how I'm able to safely cook so non breakable items in the microwave is the only way for me to cook and I don't currently own any.

None of the food will go to waste either! I have a sibling who will eat anything I end up unable to. If you have any questions I'm absolutely happy to answer them, feel free to ask. Either way, I appreciate you taking the time to read this ❤️

Fun Fact: I’ve always been a spooky girl. As a kid, I wished I was a vampire, wanted to grow up to be a paranormal investigator, and could never pass up a good ghost story.

As an adult, none of that has changed.
Now I have the power to be spooky all year long. No one can stop me.

Now that “Summerween” is a thing, even more people are on board, so I’m taking it as the perfect excuse to rope you all into some spooky summer fun.

Share your favorite ghost story, local legend, or unexplained experience. The spookier (or funnier), the better!

This is a judgment-free zone, if you’re not interested in sharing there is no obligation, but please be kind to others who do share.

Ghost stories, UFO sightings, Bigfoot encounters, paranormal experiences, or just about anything you’ve experienced that you still can’t explain.
I would love to hear them all. Let’s see how spoooky our little community can get!

Bonus points (and I’ll reply with a ⭐ to start your week off right) if you share a picture of your pet in a Halloween costume!

And as always one last giant…

Thank you all for being here!

My oldest has a birthday next week. I have cut a tendon in my finger and am trying to get insurance for surgery but more than likely it kind of “is what it is” so I am relearning how to use my right, minus a middle finger that is going stiff🖖. Do not recommend, please don’t cut your hand.

Hey all,

I’m a mom to three and have been having a really rough time financially this past year. I went through a divorce where my ex husband abandoned me. Medical complications have resulted in my inability to drive or maintain a regular job. I’ve been picking up gig work when I can but I’m already running behind on so many bills. Extended hospital stays, physical therapy and rehabilitation (for my body) have further complicated my situation. I have insurance coverage and food stamps from the government where I live but I simply don’t have extra money to spare for things like deodorant or laundry detergent. These are things that they don’t provide public assistance for. Keeping the lights on has been my priority. While two of my kids are reusing their backpacks from last year, my daughter needs a backpack and her school starts Aug. 1st. The pockets on her old backpack were ripped through from using it so long. I’m doing everything I can to stay on my feet, despite my complex neurological issue. Any help is truly appreciated.

Hi all,
I’m recently single, getting back on my feet and getting my bearings as a single mother of 3- ages 5, 8, and 11.

I don’t get paid until next week, and my refrigerator broke down Saturday. I just need help with some shelf stable things to get us through until I get paid.

I’ve attached an Amazon wishlist. Anything would be a huge help. Thank you for looking.

Hi everyone!

I am so sorry to have to ask but we just had both vehicles quit working after my husband was laid off (restaurant filed bankruptcy and locked the doors and didn’t pay final paycheck) and I just started a new job on 6/29 but do not get paid until 7/17. I made a wishlist that has some food items to help us until then as well as some personal care items and some work clothing items. We have exhausted our savings and are both looking for additional work, selling things, etc. I also can furnish proof of my work offer letter, pics of both vehicles, etc.

Also, I included a three pack of men’s tank tops because my husband’s old ones are completely stained yellow/brown from working in the restaurant. We had planned on replacing them before his employer went bankrupt and withheld all employees final paychecks. We are working with the state/unemployment office to remedy this but we have been told it takes time. I can furnish documentation of the employers actions upon request as well as pics of both vehicles, etc.

Thank you all so much for reading and I hope your week is going better than ours. :)

Hi everyone! My four month old has failure to thrive, which in turn has made his neck very weak. He’s not a huge fan of tummy time, and his pediatrician helped me figure out a few things that draw baby’s attention so they lift their head up! His head is flattening - and if we can get him interested in tummy time we still have time to avoid a helmet! Thank you so much for reading and in advance. ❤️

Its fixed Thank You Everyone, I am unfortunately in a bad spot and I need help with groceries.

I have a fixed income from disability this has been the hardest year so far.

I am struggling to get the essential items after making choices of do I pay rent, pay electric or water this month or groceries, the former wins

Everyday my pantry is smaller and smaller.

I have cut my meals 3/4's of the way back over the past 3 months to try to st

I eat once a day and I have run out of options but to humbly ask for help with groceries to help me get a bit in the pantry.

These raised prices is making it impossible to have a little extra every month now i am sacrificing as much as I can and still can't keep up.

It would mean the world to me and my tummy for help.

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1I6QXQL90OLYQ?ref_=wl_share

I hope I am doing the right thing here and fixing the link I did change 1 item due to the option

hello generous people,

i come to you, requesting some help!

i'm chronically ill and just got laid off a few weeks ago from my job in the grief/mental health field, helping many others navigate their pain while also holding my own. so, safe to say i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, pretty lost, and utterly exhausted at the moment. even still, i'm trying to enjoy the little things such as writing letters to my penpals or making myself a small treat. i am proud to practice asking for help and to remember that i am more than just a caretaker for others, especially when it's so hard to care for myself.

i made a list here and appreciate any support towards it. in addition to some household essentials, a few items on my list ensure that i can breathe better, safeguard my immune system, and support me on the days when chores are difficult to complete.

thanks for witnessing me and for all you do here in this community! have a beautiful day, and i look forward to paying it forward when i can <3
