Discussion Shadab Khan was given out, and Pakistan appeared to have lost the match as players began shaking hands. He took a review almost as a formality while the handshakes were underway, only for the decision to be overturned to NOT OUT. An absolutely extraordinary moment in cricket

PCB is possibly using AI to generate infographics resulting in completely incorrect stats
Here is the statsguru query: https://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;filter=advanced;orderby=batting_strike_rate;orderbyad=reverse;qualmin3=60;qualval3=batted_score;spanmax1=31+Dec+2100;spanmin1=01+Jan+2001;spanval1=span;template=results;type=batting;view=innings
As you can see, UAE's CP Rizwan and Bermuda's IH Romaine are at the top. Even if you only count the full members, Brian Lara is at the second spot behind Jacques Kallis. The next three are Balbirnie, Rayudu, and Vaughan.
The Tamim, Hope, and Dhoni innings mentioned in the infographic don't even exist and are just AI hallucinations. Tamim's slowest 60+ knock is 80(116) while Hope's slowest knock is 77*(133).

Discussion A paragraph from Shane Watson’s autobiography from 2011
Watson seems pretty indifferent here towards ball tampering. Is interesting to read considering the scandal in 2018.

Discussion What Happens after 303?
Karun Nair scored 303* in just his third Test. Four months later, he was out of the Indian team. It took him over eight years to get another chance.
So what happened? Was he unlucky with timing, did he fail to make the most of his opportunities, or was it a bit of both?
I wrote about Nair's rise, disappearance and comeback and why being good enough to earn a place isn't always enough to keep it.
Would love to hear your thoughts - did India give Karun Nair a fair chance, or did he simply not do enough when it mattered?

News James Anderson on Instagram
l've supported Lancashire since I was kid, and so to get to play for them for 25 years was a dream come true. I have always found it special walking out to play at Old Trafford and have some incredible memories of doing so including the honour of being captain - if it was up to me it wouldn't have ended like this, but I wish the players and fans all the best for the future 🌹
