You know the deal - dump all/any promo codes here for this month!
This thread is your one-stop-shop to post and search for promo codes, and will help keep the front page of the sub full of the things we love (pictures of perfectly matching A E R O kits) and fewer boring text posts.
This is a completely original idea and not borrowed from any of the more popular fashion subs.
Rules: If you’re posting a code, please tell us where it’s for and how much it will save us.
Referral codes ARE ALLOWED, just make sure the URL doesn’t doxx you (if you care about that)
If you’re using a code, please reply to the original comment once you’ve used the code; obviously for reusable referral codes, this won’t be necessary.
And uh, yeah, that’s pretty much it. Ride safe and look good doing it!

The team is called Novo Mesto, a Slovenian team that's produced 6+ pro riders in the last 9 years, btw.

My job is only like 4 miles from home and I'm thinking about biking to work sometimes. Should I just wear my work clothes on my road bike to bike to work? It's 'business casual' so think khakis or even clean jeans and a button down collar shirt or a polo shirt.
Or, should I wear my normal cycling outfit and change at work?

My commute is about twenty five minutes each way, which is awkward. it is too short to justify changing into proper padded bibs but long enough that the wrong underwear causes trouble by the time i get to work
What i have worked out is that the seams and the pouch construction matter more than padding. flat seams reduce the friction points on the inner thigh and groin, and a pouch that holds its position means you are not constantly adjusting while riding. fabric choice helps too, with something that dries quickly better than heavy cotton in warm weather
For the commute i switched to a moulded pouch brief from sukrew, because the shape stays where it should on the saddle, and i wear it under normal shorts. for anything over an hour i still change into proper bibs with a chamois, since underwear cannot do that job
Gold bond powder or a bit of chamois cream also helps on warmer days if friction is a problem
What do other commuters wear for rides in the middle range, and has anything you tried made a clear difference?

I am wondering what to wear in this weather. I'm trying to avoid Lycra and other polyesters.
I've been wearing a thin Merino wool long sleeve "base layer" but I heard this is frowned upon. Not sure why because it's essentially a long sleeve shirt that wicks sweat and breathes.

I don't see too many people around me with it and I see the brand mostly online, they've got some cool designs and would hate to spend money on something not worth it.

Hi guys!
I'm a bit lost in the world of cycling shoes and sizing, so hopefully you can give me some advice.
My riding is mostly road-oriented gravel and long distances, but I also ride trails and singletrack from time to time.
I've been riding Giro Empire VR90s since 2020. They're a size 46 and have always been too big for me. With my toes pushed forward, I can fit about 1.5–2 fingers between my heel and the back of the shoe. However, when I tighten the laces properly, they actually feel pretty comfortable, with plenty of room for my toes. The problem is that if the laces loosen even a little, my feet start moving around inside the shoes.
Overall, I've been happy with them, but they're slowly falling apart, so I'm looking for something that fits better.
Here's what I've tried so far:
When I measured my feet according to Lake's guidelines, they came out at around 277 mm long and 105 mm wide. Based on Lake's sizing recommendations, the 44.5 MX238s should have been a good fit, but they weren't.
So, where should I go from here?
Should I be looking for a shoe with a wider toe box but a narrower feet, or perhaps a different brand altogether? I'd love to hear recommendations from people who've dealt with similar fit issues.
I'd prefer laced shoes, but a good fit is much more important, so I'm open to other closure systems too but only with 2 BOA dials, as I can’t get any types snug enough.
Here are the shoes on my shortlist so far:
Unfortunately, I don't have a huge selection of bike shops locally where I can try different shoes, so I'm relying on online shops and returning shoes when they don't fit.
Which of these would you try first, or are there any other models I should look at?
Thanks in advance!

Started doing my morning rides on my 1988 PEUGEOT Ventoux 12 Speed. What a great machine at only 10kg with down tube non-indexed shifting. It’s refreshing to enjoy riding without the gadgets.

Bought used bib and shit from Geartrade to get comfortable before I go all out on a new set. How's it look? Feels a tad tight.

I've recently had my attitude adjusted when it comes to making myself visible on the road. Previously I would dress for myself and make sure that I was lit up in the dark but rely on highway code rules 204 & 211 to 213 to keep me protected. After an incident with someone who apparently views rules such as passing a driving test and not taking cocaine before getting behind the wheel more of a suggestion I'm rethinking my approach to trusting other people with their responsibilities to vulnerable road users.
I've been looking at new jerseys and I'm trying to decide if patterned designs are better for visibility or if they break up your outline and make you blend into the background more. Would a solid block of colour make you more noticeable instead? I'm not a fan of the yellow jacket of authority but I guess bright jerseys and a gilet wouldn't make me feel like too much of a tit, although I do worry that making myself more visible just paints a target on my back, if they can't see you, they came aim for you.

I love vintage cycling jerseys. When I ride my bike I usually wear a "vintage" (or retro) jersey with jean shorts and a padded short underneath or some Walmart sweatpants since I just like the casual look when riding.
What I've noticed is how inconsistent sizing is among cycling jerseys back then For example, I have two Tommaso size 4 cycling jerseys (fit like a medium/large) and one of the jerseys fits me way too tight while the other jersey fits me just perfect. The measurements are different from one another but not by much. This is also noticeable with vintage Giordana and Nalini jerseys.
Anyways, the purpose of this post is I'm curious to hear feedback from you as to your experience with vintage cycling jerseys. Do you also notice sizing inconsistency?

Trying to decide between these 2 jackets. https://www.assos.com/us/mille-gt-men-s-ultraz-winter-jacket-s11-evo-11-30-442-18.html https://www.q36-5.com/en-us/shop/adventure-winter-jacket-nautica-blue/ This will be for Seattle area use. FWIW I don't ride much in the wet, I'd use my rollers for those days. So I'm looking for something to use probably in the mid 30s (F) and up. I have good base layers and thermal jerseys as well. Mainly Z2 rides with a few intervals tossed in here and there. I run cold in general now, since turning 50 (I'm 53 almost 54 now) I feel like I get cold way easier. Thanks!

Hello fellow bikers,
I got hit by a car last month and now looking into a new bike helmet. I was thinking a fluorescent green or white helmet for visibility.
I went to local shop and tried a POC OMNE BEACON mips helmet (white and orange). It fit great. Can’t find it’s virginia tech rating so Im worried it’s not top protection.
Any other advice or ideas (yes I have lights on front and back of bike, and on helmet etc. I just need helmet advice for now).
Update:
I went to local shop and got an orange POC Octal Mips : https://poc.com/en-ca/product/octal-mips-cpsc-fluorescent-orange?srsltid=AYCX9vLF2056w-TONnsn8TCujmy_rvd0UyvZYCKpNXYRXQetA6oUat0P
Thank you all for your help!!!

Picked this up today for £159 (£100 off RRP) from the Paul Smith website.
This is sold as the older Utopia model, and is even labelled as such on the box, but this is Infact the new Utopia Y model with the updated padding and fitting system. Speaking of which, the Octofit system on this is miles ahead of my old helmet.
The paint job on this is even nicer in person, and amazingly this is the cheapest Utopia Y I’ve seen new on the internet at the moment.

There is not a consumer photo of these anywhere on the internet. If anyone has them or seen a picture, I’m very curious what this color actually looks like IRL

Thought this was worth sharing while I clear out some gear I haven’t used in forever. Haven’t seen many of these floating around.
The old EF kits were so much fun.

Kinda stuck. My bike’s probably due for an upgrade, and if I do that I’ll just stick with budget kit like NeoPro, TBB, Przewalski etc. Had TBB and Przewalski stuff before and they’ve been solid so not a big sacrifice.
But every year I also tell myself I’ll get one nice piece from Rapha or Assos. Not really for performance, I just like having something nice lol
Problem is every time I look at kit I think the money should go to the bike, then I look at bikes and my current one suddenly seems totally fine 😂
Anyone else do a yearly treat thing? How do you decide what to spend it on?

Thoughts on cycling cross branding? Don’t know if the Nike with Adidas also applies to cycling.. i.e MAAP with PNS?

Looking for a winter jacket for outdoor rides in 0-10°C. Needs to keep me warm, protect against wind and weather, and be as race-fit as possible (no flapping fabric, aero cut).
I’m a big MAAP fan in general, but their winter jackets just don’t appeal to me. My current favorite is the PAS Normal Mechanism Thermal Jacket, so something in that direction would be ideal.
Any recommendations? Bonus points if it’s not insanely overpriced, but I'm ready to spend big if it keeps me warm in the cold days.

Why are there no reviews of the new Shimano rc910 and rc8 shoes? Usually a release like this gets a bunch of YouTube reviews. I’ve seen nothing other than a brief mention in video reviews of the new pedals.
-Are the new shoes duds?
