Joined my first D&D table and fell in love with crafting terrain and mini painting!
First project was reversible stone and wood reversible tiles inspired by BMC and second was outdoors grass tiles which are mostly finished (Still missing grid and I want to make them reversible as well).
First mini I painted was a female monk from Blacklist based on the Player's Handbook 5E 2014 picture for monks. Even though paints are cheap and it took a long time to get coverage, I liked how it turned out.
The table loved it and I might have reignited their passion for the game!

Found a toy house at the thrift store, gave it a new coat of paint and turned into a creepy house for DnD š not sure what to do with the inside walls yet, but I like what Iāve got so far

Ive built my own table with ir screen etc.
If I wanted to make the box plug in and play how could I do that? I'm UK based. So a iec C13 outlet on the box which I could plug in would be amazing. The tv has a 3 prong UK plug attached (not removable) I'd like to be able to pretty much plug in a iec C13 to power the tv and maybe an extension lead? Plug in a HDMI and maybe USB? Nice and simple I place my laptop plug in a USB and HDMI and that's everything I need.

Here is my latest collection of item cards based on the items from Zelda games: https://thespeakingsquid.blogspot.com/2026/10/cards-minish-cap-item-cards-complete-set.html
This set collects items from The Minish Cap, including the titular hat. I tried to follow a theme of fairy tales for this set, so youāll see many references to classic stories.
These item cards are system agnostic, so they can represent loot for many different game systems. You can also use them to just get inspired about what sort of loot youād like to see in your next adventure.
You can find a print ready PDF of the entire set in black and white here: https://www.patreon.com/ItemCardswithTheSpeakingSquid/posts/item-cards-cap-b-173307675Ā
This is the twelfth Zelda game I have published, and with all the other side projects Iāve worked on, Iāve got more than 1,500 item cards just waiting to represent your loot or get you inspired.Ā
Thanks for checking out my newest set.
Be excellent to everyone.

I made this with PVC Pipe and a type of strype. It cost like 120BRL (brazilian money), that today is around 22 dollars.
I will paint it in black and put something on top top protect the monitor.
Later I will do something more fancy for a 32'' or 40'' TV, this project with the 24'' monitor is just a test

Iām not sure this is the right place for this or not but Iām not sure where else to look (suggestions welcome). My sister plays DnD and I want to get her a custom die made with a cicada shell inside but I donāt know how to go about doing this. Is this something someone in here might be able to do, or direct me somewhere that could?

This is a handout for Impossible Landscapes, one of the big campaigns for Delta Green. The book is pretty particular in describing this invitation, and I'm thinking it might be fun to try and make actual paper copies for my players. Any suggestions on how to start? I'll drop the description in the comments.
(inb4: the calligraphy is purposely janky, for lore reasons. The final product doesn't need to be so "fatigued," and I could live without the goldleaf, but otherwise I'm curious what you would suggest.)

Created a Halloween one-shot in a cemetery with a mystery and some spooky enemies and even jump-scares. Thinking about adding a fog machine for effect.

Last month I made some buildings with a bit of a high-elf feel to them (well, that was the aim anyway)⦠and this month Iāve been working on some extra detail pieces for them (like the dormer windows and balconies you can see in the pic).
Like a lot of my stuff, itās just paper printouts stuck to bits of cardboard⦠and thereās a video showing me put some of this stuff together here: https://youtu.be/cQxRKhXebiM
Hope you like āem :) :) :)

So, I've been a GM most of my life (44), and one day my wife got into stamp-making for our kids and suddenly we saw the potential for worldbuilding and play in our in-house ttrpg games.
We skeched out the landmarks, cleaned them up in PhotoShop and laser cut the stamps to prototype them. It turns out they were a blast to use. You could use them as a fog of war, revealing the terrain as players advanced, or as fast ahndouts or to improvise maps, or even just to prototype worlds in a physical medium.
So, encouraged by our friends, we've taken it to Kickstarter and the campaign is live now! If your quick you can still catch the early-bird offers which end tomorrow.

Any way, this is a little project we do from our living room in Madrid (Spain) and we wanted to sahre it with the broader community. It started as a very crude DIY but I think the look we've got now is pretty nice.
If you don't want to collaborate with the campaign but are still curious about making them yourselves, I'll be happy to answer any questions! Happy dungeoning fellas!

This idea has been living rent free in my head for MONTHS and I finally got around to executing it. Meet Peaches the Destroyer, Bugbear barbarian, in Labubu form. I got the Labubu body pattern off of Etsy (pattern by ADYKADOLL). I found a Labubu face .stl file on Cults3D and learned how to use the sculpt tools in blender to give Peaches her signature āmean mugā and underbite teeth, and printed it on my husbandās resin printer. Found the hands, feet, posable skeleton and eyes on AliExpress. My hyperfixation is finally satisfied and I can now start making Christmas presents. AHHH I love her so much Iām so proud of how she came out!
2nd picture is artwork of her I made a while back for comparison š„°
Hey everyone!
I'm a DM and 3D printing enthusiast, and I've been working on a little project called 3D20 that I thought some of you might enjoy.
I've always loved using miniatures in my games, but traditional minis can be expensive, take ages to print, and eventually become a nightmare to store. Not to mention I have a slight panic attack when my 6 year old picks them up, she isn't gentle with them!
So I started experimenting with an alternative: simple, recognisable monster silhouettes that are easy to print on an FDM printer without supports, don't need painting, and take up very little storage space, and cost next to nothing to print out :)
What started as a few designs has now turned into a project to work through the entire 2024 D&D Monster Manual, creating printable meeple versions of the creatures along the way.
I've also started branching out into player characters and simple terrain pieces.
All the models are free to download on MakerWorld, I'm doing this for the community (and If I get enough points on the way from prints to buy a better printer, lovely stuff!):
https://makerworld.com/en/collections/22733448-2024-monster-manual-meeples
I'm continuing to add new monsters each week, and I'd love to hear what other DMs and makers think of the concept.
Would you use something like this at your table, or do you prefer traditional miniatures?
And if there's a monster you'd particularly like to see as a meeple, let me know! I'll add it to the request list :)

This is the BriteMinis Nezznar which you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4326929
I scaled him up and to set him at 32mm at his eye level instead of the tip of his head. He's a big mini. Then I created different baseplate that activates the LED on press. These LEDs are really bright and having them on constantly can be blinding. There isn't anything special on the baseplate to achieve the pressure connect since it's just a loose fit so this might take some fiddling with to get working.
Link to the baseplate here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7110396
It's not perfect, takes some fiddling to get right so this is still very much a DnDIY project. In the last photo you can see some of the several dozen test baseplates I made to fit the CR2016 battery.

This Mimic Chest is based on a Vasily39 design. It is stained in walnut and cherry from Minwax and has an Acrylic eye. The teeth are hand painted. Finished with a Felt liner inside.
Hi guys! This is my first post here as I never dared actually building something myself before. After some time DMing, I am ready to properly build my first DM screen.
I have been playing with some concepts for the Art (don't worry these are not final versions), but I am very indecisive on what direction to take conceptually.
Which one do you like? I want to engrave it on wood, and the DM screen will be 3 horizontal panels (I am short, I can't see the party's minis if I use vertical ones lol).
I could ask AI, but I'd much rather have human opinions!
To clarify: Yes, these are AI, I want to pay an artist (a friend of mine) to actually do the art, but I do not know which direction to go, so I wanted a bit of public advice first

I keep seeing videos of people assembling these tiny, detailed rooms with working lights and microscopic books. But when you buy a DIY miniature house kit, are you actually building the whole structure from raw materials, or is it mostly gluing together pre-cut pieces like 3D-puzzle furniture? Is the main appeal the crafting process itself, or do people mostly use them as desk decor when theyāre finished?

A few more shots of my ruined city! There are so many little details scattered throughout this scene, and I had a lot of fun bringing everything together.
Hope you guys like the pics!
It's currently live on Kickstarter if you want to check it out
And there is a free tower STL!
