I tried to go to my local dominos today only to have the employees get annoyed at me and say there’s no Minecraft anything and there’s not gonna be any? But when I checked online it says the store should have the Minecraft items? Like tbh I don’t even want the food I just want the Minecraft items is there a way to get the codes a different way online or am I doing this wrong

If I order the lava cakes, would I get a code for those?

I asked my GM this question, and she could not give a confident answer. Since the loaded chicken went from being a 12 piece portion to being a 6oz portion, does the 12 piece rule still apply? Like does it have to be 12 pieces that total 6 ounces, or does it just have to be 6 ounces?

I'm a driver at the busiest store in my city and I'm so tired of all the remakes and the rude customers. Like I don't let people phase me but everyone is so delusional like yes Susan the carryout you placed 10 minutes ago is not ready during Sunday dinner rush nobody told you to come into the store to stand with your arms crossed

So here's the situation, over a year ago I was hired on by my current franchisee to be a full-time assistant manager at the store I still currently work at.

Sometime ago I stepped down from being an assistant manager and switched over to being a full-time driver.

At some point I was given the HONORARY TITLE of lead driver due to my long-term experience with the company.

As I was originally hired by the franchisee herself I still have her contact information and therefore have the ability to get ahold of her directly rather than going through everybody else.

I've never felt the need to do this as everybody at the store gets along really well and there isn't really any drama, but there's a situation unfolding and I feel like it is a slippery slope that the franchisee needs to be made aware of if they're not already.

SO HERE'S WHAT'S GOING ON.

Over the last year our delivery charge has been slowly creeping up, it was $3.99 when I first started at the store, pretty soon it was $4.49 and then before you knew it it was $4.99.

Well over the last year it has crept up to $6.49.

Two weeks ago it jumped from $6.49 to $7.99

Every other time it has gone up by 50 cents, but this time it jumped up all at once by $1.50.

AND THE CUSTOMERS HAVE MOST DEFINITELY TAKEN NOTICE.

Here's the thing, through every other delivery charge increase we got some complaints about it but for the most part the ratio of deliveries didn't really seem to change that much

With this increase our carryout to delivery ratio changed drastically.

Over the last couple of weeks the number of deliveries versus the number of carryouts has dropped DRASTICALLY I thought maybe it was just a one-off on a couple of nights but it has stayed this way.

Our delivery to carry out ratio used to be fairly close to even and sometimes depending on the weather would be way more deliveries than carry outs, now that has completely flipped.

Unfortunately I already tossed the papers after looking over them so I don't have the EXACT numbers but I can give some pretty good examples.

These numbers are for a Friday night mind you...

If we did an hour with 30 orders it would be around six to eight deliveries and the other 22 or 24 orders would all be carry outs.

On a slower hour we might do 15 orders, you'd have four deliveries and 11 carry outs.

But the one that really stuck with me and this IS AN EXACT NUMBER....

From 5:00 to 6:00 the other night we did 26 orders, 3 were deliveries and 23 were carry-outs.

I worked 4:30 to close on this last Friday night, from 4:30 to 7:00 I took three deliveries... In two and a half hours... THREE.

Here's my concern... I'm not the only driver that has noticed the drastic drop in the number of deliveries, and we already have several EXCELLENT DRIVERS talking about moving on and finding other work because they're not going to come in the store and be standing around being given busy work because they're suddenly no deliveries to be taken.

I've raised my concern with my general manager about the delivery fee finally being too much and pushing people to either order carry out instead or just go somewhere else.

But I'm afraid the GM is never going to raise the concern to the supervisors and certainly not to the franchisee, she's a good manager, but she doesn't like to rock the boat.

I really don't want to step on her toes because I get along with her really well, but I'm afraid if this keeps up we're not going to have any delivery drivers left.. and if they raise the delivery fee anymore I'm afraid we're not going to have any need for delivery drivers.

So what does everybody think? Should I just reach out to the franchisee directly with my concerns and tell them that we need to lower the delivery fee to entice people back to delivery orders, or should I just see what happens?

Not even 12 hours with 4.0 and I HATE it. Why did they take away the visual view for truck ordering? And why does it look like I’m just on a website?

Also how is the pepperoni being grabbed? With the way the hand is positioned, the thumb wouldn't reach. The pepperoni is just floating.

Obviously, nobody's gonna top the greatness that was The Noid [yes, I am aware of WHY The Noid was retired, but I still like The Noid regardless], but I think Donny and Dottie were great mascots too. They didn't get used very much, they were mostly in the Somethin' For Nothin' era [and most of time it was just Donny with Dottie not appearing as often. Strange, considering she is Donny's girlfriend], and in a few Japanese commercials [they may have appeared in more international commercials too, but info on these characters is oddly very scarce]. They have fun character designs [anthropomorphic dominoes is very fitting for the chain and it's a wonder they never did this to begin with. I like Dottie's Polly Pocket-esque hairstyle and Donny's reflective shades and blue jacket], and I wish they had stuck around. Technically Donny is still around and has been redesigned a bit to look more like the modern Domino's logo, but I find his modern design [specifically the ones with eyes] to be a bit bland [I really wish they kept the jacket, even if they had to change it's color to contrast better], and I think it's a shame he's not used in commercials anymore. Not helping is that Dottie isn't around AT ALL, not even getting cameos in Domino's anniversary merch. I think it would've been cool if we got to see them foil The Noid in a few ads. Honestly, with how boring Domino's modern commercials are, even if they can't bring The Noid back, I think they should bring Donny and Dottie back, even if just for a limited time.

I don't want to break rule #1, so I guess I won't include my opinion about these...

I got the wrong order but the guy insists he made the order right and refuses to give me credit.

I did an in person interview Friday for a position at Dominos and the GM wrote down my shirt size and told me he’d email me Saturday. It is now Monday and he hasn’t.

I assume he is just having a background check on me but I am curious as to how long the hiring process takes here.

My previous job burnt down and no one else is interested in hiring me outside of Walmart and I graduate university in December and I need money for a place. I am getting more annoyed and worried by the day and I just need to get hired ASAP.
