Pat McAfee is terrible
He’s completely ruined this channel. All he does is scream and yell and appeal to fraternity guys. Only the Tanner’s, Connor’s, Kyle’s, and Brad’s of the world like him.

Over-exposed, annoying, propped up by an industry that wants to exploit their infamy.
I think he’s too fragile/chronically online to cope with everything. The dude legitimately seems unwell at times. I really hope he is able to pull through this

This is the worst audio I’ve ever heard from an NFL broadcast. Stadium noise is drowning out the broadcast booth. Noise from the field is coming in at a louder volume than Troy Aikman and Joe Buck.
How does a major network not fix this?

Anyone else curious why Amazon is promoting "Watch Live With Prime" MNF that ESPN has rights to? It actually redirects to a Colorado weather channel😆Watch Live

Just watched the Monday Night Count Down crew promote the Tush Push Tater. Not sure Lincoln Financial Stadium and Philadelphia Eagles Marketing team caught how the name of this thing may describe unwelcomed post consumption effects. Just a thought while taking in MNF.

A couple of Utah students called McAfee "corny" in a video and he apparently started fearing for his life.

The commentators talk way too much take over and talk about nothing, Omar de Fonseca is so obnoxious and overcharged that it makes it absolutely dreadful, when I try to find a place to comment this on Disney I cannot find a customer service platform.
Its very dissapointing

God, this perpetual grievance act is exhausting.
McAfee, you won. You’re everywhere on ESPN, making millions, and you’ve got the platform and influence you always wanted. What the hell are you still so angry about?
McAfee and Aaron Rodgers are two of the most astonishingly thin-skinned guys in sports media. For all their swagger and performative bravado, the slightest criticism sends them into a tailspin.
And that’s what’s so revealing. Genuine self-confidence doesn’t require constant validation or treating every critic like a mortal enemy. This kind of hypersensitivity often suggests fragile self-esteem masquerading as confidence.
Imagine being that rich, successful, and famous and still being so desperately consumed by what strangers think of you. What an exhausting way to live.

Why, why, why for the love of all that is holy is his dumb face on College Gameday? What kind of person does not understand this? Thanks for taking a big, fat shit on my Saturdays ESPN.

That’s makes me feel a little escame, because paying 31.99 just for a 720p broadcast in a 65” TV really sucks.
I’ll thanks if anyone here can give and answer about this.
https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/abc-channels-reportedly-not-happy-170506618.html
Local ABC affiliates are reportedly frustrated by The Walt Disney Company’s decision to aggressively distribute Super Bowl LXI across its entire media ecosystem. Station groups like Sinclair, Nexstar, and Tegna fear that fragmenting the viewing audience could slash local traditional broadcast advertising revenue by up to 35%.

If we have to suffer through watching this game on ESPN maybe they could stop using the shaky ceiling cam. Why does watching sports on ESPN have to suck so hard?

I’ve been really impressed so far. Lakers & Golden State looks brilliant.
I’ve got a bit confused with my Unlimited plan.
As I was offered “Above the Rim” feed. Does anyone use this feed regularly? As it doesn’t seem to carry the commentary?

Apologies in advance if this has been answered, I just want to make sure I understand this correctly...
My parents have a cable subscription through Hotwire Communications. I can sign in using their login for regular access to ESPN and other cable channels if I want. But they also have access to ESPN Unlimited. When I try to login using the tv provider login, it asks for a mydisney login/email as well. We have separate mydisney accounts.
Would I have to use my parents mydisney account to login to ESPN Unlimited? Would that screw up my Disney+ account on my tv if I had to do that?

Heat vs wolves is literally unwatchable, cannot hear any of the announcers, literally only crowd noise....

I walked into my local gym today and could not believe my eyes when I saw who was on the TV.
ESPN had quack doctor David Chao on Pat Mac's show talking about Jalen Hurt's blood clots.
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
That's like having Dr. Phil on to talk about a broken leg or Jerry Springer to discuss the inner workings of a locker room.
For those who don't know, this guy was a former NFL team doctor who was fired and sued into oblivion for MULTIPLE instances of medical malpractice that almost killed athletes.

I don’t have the latest iPhone but I recently installed the Apple Sports app to substitute the shitty ESPN app to keep track of scores and my teams. They even have an option to disable betting metrics for those who don’t care for em! (It’s me, I hate all these betting ads they force down my throat).
The UI is so much better on the Apple sports app and no cringe ads on it. I encourage everyone on here with an iPhone looking for a replacement to make the switch if you haven’t! If you’re sick of Pat McAfee, the other loud mouthed assholes this platform promotes, all the betting metrics, and these cringe ads that liter ESPN make the switch.

What determines the level of crowd noise from the pick up mics at live sport broadcasts? Often I’m watching sports (mostly football and rugby) where the mix feels all wrong and it seems like it’s becoming more common.
I’m watching Liverpool v Villarreal highlights now and Anfield is not that quiet. The ambient background noise of the crowd, especially during the quieter moments in play is hardly picked up, and it kind of sucks as a viewing experience. It seems especially common watching rugby at Stade de France.
Is this a broadcasting issue, a pitch-side issue, is it local or bigger than that?
ESPN, we all know your app and site suck, BUT you can change that. It’s still taken you 4 years to do live activities that work and having your back button on the top left is the worst UI/ UX imaginable. But PLEASE update your app to IOS27.1 and fill the Duo screen.

Why does ESPN have such a hard on for basketball, specifically LeBron? The World Series is about to start, nhl and nfl seasons are in full swing, but let’s show LeBron highlights 3 times and talk about basketball (by far the softest sport on earth) for 2/3 of a SportsCenter episode. The worldwide leader in sports? Yeah freaking right

Very weird. Same issue on both ESPN app and YouTube TV.
